We all know and love shield tanking, but armor tank is soo underpowered compared to shields and shields last way longer than armor does unless you have the better gun than the other guy does and that usually isn't the case. there should be 3 additional plating: light, medium and heavy. but not to abuse them make medium and heavy start at level 3 and so on. also CCP can you add in some additional content for armor like armor resistance, energized plating, and hardeners for the infantry so armor tankers can live longer in the battlefield, I mean at least add something to improve armor tankers or add something to make them more resistant to a certain type of damage.
also about the 3 types of plating's for example: let light infantry only have the light plating, medium platings for everybody else and only heavies can handle heavy platings so light and medium infantry don't abuse the heavy platings and alongside that make the penalties for light 5-10%, medium 5-15% and heavy 10-15% or something like that so we wont be too fast or too slow during combat.
and in addition to the 3 types of armor plating can there be 3 types of armor reps as well, light, medium, and heavy, like: light reps for light infantry medium reps only to medium infantry and heavy reps only for heavy infantry. for example light reps give 3-5 healing, medium reps give 3-8 healing and heavy give 4-10 healing so we don't have to wait forever to get healed with our current armor reps that only give 3-6 healing. (I think)
I know im talking about armor but it would be nice if you added different shield resisters that made shields take less damage to certain weapon types like lazors, hybrid, and explosive dmg so that weaker players wont die instantly when faced against high geared players.(same goes for armor as well)
shields need a penalty to them as well since they don't have one now like a higher chance to be detected on radar or radar dampeners are less effective or something like that because its not fair that only armor has penalties to them. |

maybe for weaker suits but with a well equipped ADV. or Proto suit than that wont work.

it would also be nice if basic armor and shield had a little bit more than militia variants just so they are slightly different |

on another note scouts need less of a penalty when it comes to Gallente scouts since they are usually armor tanking so they wont be so slow and more survivable in combat. |
