That's nice and all, but I would prefer a dev blog of some sort, you know something on paper describing the course of action on vehicles. I shouldn't have to go talk to a Dev or CPM directly to get this sort of information. I mean if this information is correct, why is it they haven't posted anything of the sort about it I can read directly. Not to mention considering the last "patch" that made very very few changes to the game as a whole, my faith in CCP is more then a bit shaken up. It is one thing to tell me it is coming, it is another entirely to show me it is.

They aren't saying where they're taking infantry too, and yet that's the next update.
So you have a long wait.

This was my final straw. I'm in my railgun Gunnlogi going up against a railgun Madrugar. We are at close range up in the mountains and we begin exchanging shots. He actually gets the first shot on me. I get him into armor burn before he retreats a few meters into cover while he got me down to 1/3 shield. I charge at his position to place the final shot, only for him to come out with nearly full armor five seconds later. I'm sure you can guess what happens when a 1/3 shield Gunnlogi meets a full armor Madrugar. This is bullshit. I clearly would've won had it not been for this ** balance. I was using a compressed particle cannon while he was using a regular particle cannon. this **. I'm rolling around in my Charybdis from now on. Time to collect some tears myself this time around.

Shield tanks are a joke compared to armor tanks at the moment. They beat us in every aspect. I know your rage, I have felt it many times. Nowadays when I see a armor tank, I typically stay backed off, hands down. If you want to be the better tanker, go armor. Shield tanks are in a really bad spot, and CCP has yet to mention anything about tank improvements. It is funny is it not, the Charybdis can actually tank better then your gunnlogi. Unfortunately, I will no doubt be moving on beyond this game unless something happens for tanks or simply vehicles in general soon. For the moment though, CCP has made it very clear the only focus they have atm is on infantry. So don't expect anything in 1.5(notice the latest patch was incredibly weak as far as needed changes). Better off to move on to better games, they released this thing in beta! One day they may get there but it is a long ways off, no since letting it get to you. Armor tanks are still paper compared to the AV out there, so if you like the infantry game, you are better off going on foot.

Did I mention I love running over people? Nothing nicer than going 18-1 with a Charybdis and still being able to afford one Charybdis loss per game!

What makes CCP think I'm going to wait months, I've been playing for months! And not a single thing has changed well for lots of things I suppose, not just vehicles. Well, oh well. Already down to playing one game a day if I'm even in the mood. Back to skyrim til the next game comes out!

My buddy who is a shield tanker usually takes point due to him being able to tank AV nades and swarms so much better while I'm behind him coving his flanks as well as running active scanners. It's a big sacrifice for me but I also carry a shield transporter which is crazy effective (like 5.9k health in 15 secs with a 15 sec cool down). So now not only do they have 2 tanks to shoot at and worry about but I can rep shields really well and quickly which makes my friend very resilient.
