Dust is really turning into Graboids514. The LAVs are like Graboids you have to stay off the ground so they don't know your location and can't eat you.

QFT I'm actually starting to miss the free LAVs since all those free kills made carrying proximity mines 24/7 useful. My only gripe is the LLAV since they can run over a field of boundless like it's nothing.

Anyways ya AV nades can pop all LAVs but the charybdis, only reliable way to kill a charybdis is to go for its driver using a blaster turret of some kind, tanks are great if you have a scattered ion cannon, attack dropships can chase them down easily, and your own LAV with a blaster and a passenger works well too. All forms of AV however are virtually ineffective on the charybdis however, proto AV nades take 6 lai dais to kill a totally passive resisted charybdis, the proto FGs have a hard time even hitting them once(takes 2 dmg modded wirkomi breach shots, 3 ishukone), and even proto swarms dont do much damage, and are easy for the driver to lead the rockets into a wall, as cover. All in all taking down a charybdis is extremely hard, and the best way to do it is to use a blaster turret of some kind. They really are OP, as gamebreaking as the flaylock and fused nades.

That would solve a lot of issues, IMO. I also think their should be an LAV type in which the drive can fire the turrent.

Get on to CCP, all they need to no is have the LAV/LLAV take damage EQUAL to the combined HP total of the dropsuit when they ram something, a car or jeep in real life gets damaged when hitting a regular squishy human,but CCP want us to belive an LLAV cannpot hit a soldier wearing 80lbs plus of gear and armour and come out unscathed? The removal fo the free LAV was a good step but you cannot remove the BPO from packs as ppl paid real money for those, (I have a BPO LAV but I use it to get from objective to objective, and yes if someone is in the way I splat them but I do not go hunting for them) All the devs need to do now is introduce collision damage to the LAVs and remove their abilty to kill someone when moving slowly
