Is it me or is it the longer you spend on Dust the game is getting worse. Play for 4 hours straight and see if your shots or still hitting target or doing damage. I have had to reset for my weapon failed to actually hit a target or to do damage. I switch suits, try different servers, and still the same results. So does anyone else experience this or is it just me? |

I haven't noticed it. I run laser rifles on my alt and AR's / tanks on this guy. I won't base my statement off of tanks though; my laser rifle still hits its targets. |

Only real thing that happens is a direct hit with a FG not doing ****... |

Range plays a big role. Anything past 60-75 yards is sketchy. Inside that range is pretty decent.
Lasers hit better than ars. |

Might actually be a memory leak, those worsen over time as far as I know. CCP are working on patching up the memory leaks |

Where you front ? What time you play ? It could be that after 4 hours you hit the peak time for you area, and you get network lag from PSN. |

Did you know that dust voice comms are to blame. If you have a squad, and players leave and join the system goes all wonky.
Also if you are running solo, and some player spams you with squad invites, you might as well restart your entire system and not just the game client.
Not even ccp knows what happens when you have corp mates goofing off or talking in corp waiting to be picked up.... does it cascade lag the entire player list like it does to PC...probably. |

Memory leaks, they are one of the defining features of DUST. If you have really busy battles, restart the game at 3hrs.  |

The longer I play, the worse the game becomes. A small break and a reset of my PS3 usually helps. |

This game is always getting worse, it seems to be a CCP mantra.
If only those idiots played their own game... Shame no real FPS gamers are devs at CCPhail, otherwise the game would be near perfect by now. |

Get off of the Oceania server.
On the American server I have no problems.
If I'm ******* around on Oceania (where I've been seeing you) I get bad lag instantly.

I always try to reset every couple hours if I'm going for a long grind. At about 3 hrs in my games go to **** and my merc goes into seizures with the screen skipping around every 30 seconds or so |

Yes, the game gets worse the longer you play, it usually starts acting up after the 4th game, but I guess if it takes you 4 hours then it must be steadily improving. This is the reason most Corps would have their players reset before a PC battle.
Not sure how anyone can deny that it happens... |

There has been at least one major memory leak of some kind every build. Some builds are worse than others, but DUST is the only game I have that without fail requires rebooting regularly. |

I've noticed that also. Than I come across a team red line sniping taking my kills when I'm just about to switch to my scrambler pistol to finish him off only to get a kill assist because my team snipers just camp and than I get killed by a Thale while my team don't counter snipe. Pathetic lol |

The longer I played, the more the frame rate dropped. After about a couple of hours the frame rate would get so bad to where my toon could not move on my screen and I was merely a sitting duck for red berries to shoot at.  Only seems to happen on this game. The frame rate would also go completely to hell in PC matches for me. |

I feel that way all the time. The first few rounds of Skirm or whatever go fine. Then I start to get annoyed that shots aren't connecting. Then I have to stop playing altogether because the fun reserves seems to run dry.
Not sure what the deal is. Maybe its bad the whole time and it just takes a couple hours to sink in.  |

Apparently, you don't play a lot of Fallout/Bethesda games on consoles. They don't even care about fixing that stuff. |

*A lot of people have been known to Log Out between matches, just for a better connection
I switch to this server to when the others are lagging. I also notice if you do the same thing on one server your score is different on another server.

I used to be able to play Dust all day in the Chromosome build and that was using a Scout suit. Back when Scouts didn't have super speed and could run around without being hit, when aiming was at it's best. I still managed to find fun and joy in playing Dust using a AR at that.
Now...I play a few hours IF Teamplayers is on. The game isn't even worth soloing at all. The shooting is just god awful now. I am getting to the point that even if all the Teamplayers were on I am still finding myself wanting to even waste anymore time on this game. As it stands right now for me I would rather NOT play this game at all than play it with Teddybears and smurfs. I would rather AFK and earn nearly as much SPs and ISK as a person playing the full game and losing suits while I don't lose a dime.
The whole I get fatter when I jump and sprint method, that is also getting old. I understand it's a smurf mechanic to help the Eve players attempt to be relevant. This game is nothing more than a simple man's "shooter" It's made for the guy who doesn't know how to play a shooter. It has semi auto grenade launchers. Kamehameha guns that 1 shot all infanty and can only be used with a suit that is built to take at least 30-40 bullets consecutive. People complain about the most basic gun (AR) I mean cmon.
One of the most effective tactics other than the Kamehameha is just driving around aimlessly running people over.....The game has potential....I think this word potential is getting blown out to be something amazing. A bum on the side of the streets has potential. That is pretty much what Dust is to the console world of shooters. The bum game who couldn't do anything right and ultimately should just be moved to PC already. Most the guys who are competitive at this game are KB/M players anyway there is really no need for this game to remain on Playstation or the console world(Sony fanboy so see Xbox as my enemy and I wouldn't wish this game on even them) I have a pretty high tolerance for failure too(Been playing the Socom series and Socom hasn't been good since Socom3 Combined Assault and I been playing the whole series Confrontation and Socom4 which were horrible)
At the current direction this game is heading, on the broken road that it's clearly on. I really don't see much potential at all. Anybody can create a bedazzled image of a successful future. To put in a motto everybody can relate to. "You can talk the talk but can you walk the walk?" It takes 2-4 months for anything worthy of mentioning to happen. At this rate the game will not be balanced for another 2-3 years. IF this game makes it through the test of time and stays on console, this game honestly won't be worth playing till it's on Playstation4 in 2-3 years.
