Why not have the ability to basically decide for yourself how much speed your suit has, how much shields and armor, how many equipment slots, mods, pg and cpu your suit has? Obviously within reason like have a certain amount of credit or start with like a heavy medium or light frame and build within certain limitations. Once the dust market opens up why not have these people be available to sell awesome suits that other people can't make because they don't have the skill to do so? For that matter, I've heard rumors or weapon mods coming out eventually, why not do the same for them? Just build stuff from the ground up using whatever resources you have. Just thinking of ways to open up the game to something other than competitive PVP. Thoughts? |

That would be a T3 suit (using EVE's ship classifications) and we will get there in time. We don't even have T2 gear yet so be patient. |

Similar to a loadout system in other FPS games I suppose? |

Well technically if all suits were like the OP said, then you can decide exactly how your Logi suit will play so there actually wouldn't really be a Logistics suit anymore. |

Indeed, it would simply be a suit that you have fitted out to fulfill a logistics role.
If these kind of suits existed, stats like run speed, stamina, melee strength, scan strength, armour hp etc, would all work on a point system. The amount of points the suit has would be based on the level of the suit, advanced, prototype etc...
The slots on the dropsuit would again have a point system but I think a separate one from the "Stats" pool as balancing a high slot vs a low slot would be easier then balancing a high slot vs melee strength, imo. |

Newish to the eve universe so I was guessing they've already done alot of interesting stuff for eve, but at this point I have no idea where CCP is going with this game. I hope they stop screwing around soon so we can actually have some foundation to expand the game on with stuff like this. I've seen fantastic ideas out of people but they still don't have all the suits out and PvE has been put on hold again, just frustrating. |
