Let's get rid of MCC spawning. Leave the MCC up there, but make people spawn on the ground. I know it's a novel thing in dust, but most people spawn on the ground anyway. The MCC has poor access on most maps, so it see's little use most of the time. |

DUMB! Im joking, the reason why we spawn in the MCC is because it was intended to be a base of operations that has its own pilot and such. |

Yeah, I know, but that's another one of those things that's down the line. The way I heard it, it's something that was supposed to be in place when they start doing the 500 person battles.
Right now, though, none of these functions are there, really. The MCC simply serves as an explanation for the purpose of domination and skirmish, and a novelty spawn area. This novelty is creating a pandemic of spawn campers. We kind of need to do something about it. |

The MCC should have no floor. Players should spawn strapped to the interior ceiling. Pressing X, or some other button, should drop the player as it is now. If the player doesn't hit X within, say 1 minute, the MCC should release them anyway.
MCC afking solved, and it's still fun. |

Nope. Fixing AFKing and redline snipers is a easy fix: weapon locks, and after a certain period, you stop earning SP and ISK. Also, no WP gain in the redline. Easy.

So when one team pushes another team into the redline, the losing team should be punished further by earning no ISK or SP? I've been part of matches where getting out of the Redline itself was a challenge, due to proto stompers.
If you wish to turn off ISK/SP gains while redlined, disable proto gear in pub matches. |

I don't get why redlining is so bad anyways, especially for snipers doing what they are supposed to be doing. Only time it is bad is when people are afking but aside from that I don't get the problem. Especially when the enemy pushes you into the redline and there isn't a damn thing you can do to get out without dying 5-10 times.
EDIT: Actually the root of many game issues is ISK. Although this is also a unique feature of the game, peoples fear of losing ISK to BS deaths, or pubstomps, etc far surpasses their will to win, or be an effective team member. |
