first.. what's up. and to the ladies.. Hi. My name is SURT GODS END. I work for the female public relations here in the forums.
*you wish..*
Second I know that some of you may not be sure as to what kind of game you just jumped into. Well , IT'S A LOBBY SHOOTER.
Yup. It's not defiance. (probably good thing) It's not destiny. It's not even red dead redemption. (meaning that free roam) What your playing now is a lobby shooter.
Now, now.. Not all is bad news. (are you tearing up?) You see connectivity to eve is still somewhat possible. You just have to take with a major grain of salt as to the trailers you saw of dust. Player market, player stocks, bounty bonds, new game modes. these are still possible.
Any player that played the closed beta, knew what dust was. but what it was, or what it should be, collided constantly. A bird is still a bird, even if it's wings are clipped. |

EVE side sucks too. Connect to district = you light up like a Christmas Tree to the entire system which is lowsec btw.
I'm not sure if you can connect after your team gets an OB, shoot, then disconnect, but I doubt it.
CCP is not very clear on their orbital mechanics EVE side. |

Yes you can - it's just locking a target, just like you lock a ship. Also, you don't "light up" because you lock on. When a battle is going on, the warp to point is available to all in local if you are in orbit and locked in target, in orbit and not locked on target, or even if no one is in orbit.
And by the way, Eve is a PvP space shooter game - if you are going to the PvP section (regardless of reason - OB support, just passing through, running a mission, etc) and you do NOT expect PvP, any losses you take are your own fault. |

Didn't say they weren't.
Anywho on EVEwikia or whatever it's called, it stated that once you lock onto the district, the satellite will then light up in local for all to see and warp to. |
