I played a Domination match on the map with those 6 towers and 10 out of 16 players on our side were sniping...

ive made an adv gal logi sniper fit with hive and uplink, just for tower camping :) |

Hate it when the team I'm on does it but love it when it's the enemy team doing that. So many still targets to get head shots on. |

Until they fix the problem with sighting in I refuse to use my sniper fit. When half of the person is not visible due to poor graphic rendering there is no point. |

Yeah it gets annoying when you're the only one on the ground and the rest of your team are up in the hills out of harms way AND they don't even have your back! They're messing around just picking off easy targets rather than help a brother out! |

If I was an assault, perhaps being alone on the ground would be a little more bearable, but I play a Heavy.

I haven't noticed that at all but only snipe a hanful of times a week. ONly to kill another sniper |

Domination is like a feeding frenzy for snipers. Everyone piles around one point, making easy targets. It also seems that the snipers have some sort of unspoken rule about sniping each other, just the guys actually trying to win the match.

In other news, this happens in every FPS with roles...
I remember one BF3 map where literally an entire team spawned in as medics... And they stayed that way for the entire effin match. |

I swear, I put down 1 uplink and 4 snipers pop up on my hill.
Btw, line harvest needs something similar to skim junction domination- the redline in skim junction is far enough back that snipers can get on top of a hill and countersnipe the towers. |

Just started sniping with my tank alt when I need to make cash. If I am picking people off at a distance I'd prefer my rail gun. But on it's own its a good cheap way to be useful when I have to go on foot. Still hate being sniped so I tend to try for them first, but if I can take a shot at anyone else I will. |

Line Harvest Forge Snipers are the worst (most annoying). I need a headshot and a body shot with a charged sniper rifle to take out a heavy, or 3 body shots. But then just back up and hide for a few seconds next to some log-sniper's rep-hive. Or Gallente Logi's sniping. How dare they survive a charged sniper rifle to the head from my 4-complex-damage-mod fit |
