Being a suit that's meant for solo it doesn't have much protection from its team.
What if it was given a MAJOR buff the cpu/pg but some slots were taken away. It doesn't look like it should be meant to carry or have many things on it. So why not let put the best of the best on it? |

Everyone uses the scout I solo situations. If it wasn't meant for solo then there would be no point in its increased speed and low health. It not very useful to its surrounding team.
Also is there a way for a dev to combine this into the most popular scout thread? |

Any suit can be used for solo situations.
The scout is extremely useful as a flanking unit or as, stay with me here , a scout the gallente scout especially being useful with the active scanner it's a fast support unit as well with weapons like the AR or the MD. |

when i read these scout threads I cant stop laughing. 'Scout useful for flanking' -this really cracks me up. Here is my experience with scout:
- run with a group - grenade flies by: BOOM! your teammatesr got 60% hp taken off, but you are a piece of red dirt
- try to flank a group: one of them turns backward and sees you: - TAP/TAP/TAP! 1/8th of a duvolle clip drops you in 2 sec
- try to OHK knife someone: you sneak up and jump with your knives charging - they make half a step to a side and your swing does not register, they start back pedaling and reloading lazily (why, they know they are safe because you cant spring fast enough to keep up with their back! steps) then decide to kill you with a side arm - that is not to waste good primary ammo on scout scum.
- try to run with a SG - fiinally you get close to that assault suit and take off 40% of its hp with your first blast in CQC, but wait that assault is also using a SG. He turns around and off hand OHK's you while your waiting for your SG to refire the second shot
- you are very sneaky and help your team by hacking objectives - oh wait your tearm does not care one bit you just hacked that railgun installation, and they are actually quite pissed off you lost 3 clones trying to hack an actual letter objective because, let's face it, you are not sneaky - your suit is a cristmas tree to a red dot the same a heavy would be.
Let's sum it up. Ur sprinting speed is marginally faster than assault - but wait, they got more low slots than you so they can actually equip an extra kin cat and run faster. Your HP is disgustingly low and you got no slots to buff it up - nuff said. Your awesome electronic capabilities are, well.., just a concept that was never put in the game. You want to use some equpiment - well, you better give up a side arm and a complex module because your CPU lets you use 2.5 complex modules and a standrard weapon, HTFU. So here you go folks, if you want to play the nightmare mode, choose scout. |
