After passing the 10k rookie mark, the game gets more challenging... which is great... BUT...
IN SHORT... where is the transition for new players???
I bought a headset especially for this game. I like tactics and teamwork. I am sure those things exist when your actually in an ACTIVE corp. but after 3 consecutive days of logging in, and aside from all the claims on these forums. People just generally aren't as active as they say. Public chats are always dead or are made up of upto 6 ppl that already are in a squad. Ive searched for hours and messaged a lot of people. started to feel a bit put off tbh.
Its sad, because beyond the haters... this game has so much potential.
are people aware of this?
Is anything being done to counter this?
WHOS BRAVE ENOUGH TO COMBAT THIS PUBLICALLY?

WARPOINT SHARX - were so helpful. some great guys here. time zone is killing me though. they're mostly Canadian. Im from the UK.
shout out to KILLEDYOUWITHA. we kicked some ass and you gave some awesome advice.
FORSAKEN IMMORTALS - CHIBI ANDY - thanks for your help but 3 days of trying to squad up is sad. You personally have been responsive. so thanks dude =] your a great recruiter.

Try joining LFSquad - channel if you aren't already.
I used to go there and it was active at the time, I was squadding up in no time.

Could always hook up with us dude we're all UK players with jobs so mostly evening players. We're all pretty new to the game too so still learning, but we're getting there.
Activity level is quite low this week cos a lot of folks have stuff on and I'm working away from home but this should pick up next week and weekend.
If we're not what your looking for that's cool but drop me a friends request cos I'll be on quite a lot when I get home hopefully. I got three weeks off to fill. :D

The transition is called DUST University. :) You can apply at any time and join the largest corp in the game. And don't worry about commitments, when you are ready to move on, you move on. There is no reason not to join University once you are out of Academy, but it's up to you of course.
In D-Uni you will always find somebody to squad up with, and you will experience what it's like to play with proper communication and teamplay.

hmmm really? no one in the pub channel added you? was it the time difference? since we are in the UK timezone, but its too bad we couldnt get you squaded up, wish you all the best in finding a corp thats more suited to your timezone.  |
