Atm I have vehicle core upgrades at level 3, ADV hybrid turrets, ADV in everything shield related. Here are my 2 current fits and would like some advice from the pros. One thing I'm struggling to decide is to go either full passive shield amplifiers for reduced damage or shield extenders.
Blaster Gunnlogi:
-Converse Heavy Booster -Heavy Supplemental Shield Extender -Supplemental Shield Extender -Supplemental Shield Amplifier -Surge Shield Reinforcement -x2 Local PG Upgrades -x2 Cycled Missile Turrets - 80GJ Scattered Neutron Blaster
Shield HP: 5545 HP Shield Damage: -16.34%
I know it needs more core upgrades and the proto versions of the modules and turret. I can't fit anymore light extenders because of the high PG cost. But for now am I doing it right?

I would recommend to at least get you're shield resistance to at least 30% with x2 Ward Shield Amps. Using the shield boosters are really not viable in this build imo, it take to much away cpu/pg vise with little benefit. I would stack up on the Heavy Shield extenders; and try to get you're shields up too 7-8k, and to top it off put the shield reinforcement to get an addition active boost of 30%. |

when STD to ADV swarm launchers do 1/10 damage to my shields they back off really quick. The high amount of shield gives the illusion of strength... to the STD tank. the only draw back is that you have to wait for you're shields to recharge when you are at critical shields. Good luck man. |

Thanks for the advice, could try to fit another heavy extender and a light shield booster. I still think the booster is needed because the shield regen is too low... |

oh and the reason you have such high pg cost for you're gunlogi is because of the blaster you have attached to the tank. Its kinda hard to put a blaster on a gunlogi without sacrificing survivability. I recommend get good with the railgun you could still do close encounters and doninate with the railgun, whoever told you, you couldnt is lying to you, I do it all the time. also you're worst enemy on the battlefield atm are forgegunners, try to take them out first. they could really **** up you're tank. |

I have always used the railgun its good for any situation as for tanking it idk I only use mine for av purposes with no skills into it |

I tried 2 boosters but that lowers my shield HP to ~4400, which is pretty low and makes the tank weak against any decent AV. I also tried the light booster which allowed me to get around ~6500 shield HP, but the regen was too slow, so I got killed pretty easily as well. Cmon did all the tanker really left? lol |

obviously you need top tier mods and to max out the skills that increase pg/cpu. other than that I might recommend ditching the active shield hardeners and put on another passive. 10 seconds isn't long enough( that's what she said ) my glass cannon fit I lose the shield booster and put on an active heat sink. I usually have 6000+ shields with high resistances |

You seem to be on the right path. Basically shoot for the Heavy supplemental extender It makes a big difference and will free up some PG.

Or
-Heavy Converse shield booster -x3 Ward Shield amplifiers -Heavy supplemental shield extender -x2 15% Pg boosters (Low Slots) -Proto Large Blaster -Standard rider missiles
Typically though, I substitute a speed boost or heat sink for one of my shield amplifiers.
But notice I only run one extender, and no active shield amplifiers, they are nearly worthless. 10 seconds and a 30 second cooldown will do nothing for any AV mitigation.
Running blasters on a gunnlogi and making it tough are hard. Gunnlogis are meant to use missiles not blasters, but currently missiles are very much weak compared rails and blasters. If you didn't know missiles use far less pg. I do have a missiles fit i run to give you another example of what can be done with them.

Awesome thank you for this great advice. I noticed you didn't equip light shield extenders. They offer around 500-700 HP for low PG. Do you think the amplifier is better than the light extender? A ward extender gives 15% damage reduction. So a let's say a forge gun deals 1500 damage. With the amplifier it deals around 1275 damage. So the amplifier gives you 225 HP while the extender gives you much more.
However when PG is not enough amplifiers is the way to go. I guess you're right the active amplifier is not very useful, especially for a tank that can't escape so easily from AV. But I still think it's useful for 1vs1 tank fights. What do you think?

I have also been experimenting with my shield tank. I have forgone trying to buffer tank and gone for all resistance. I have 3 supplemental hardeners and a complex active hardener. I use an advanced shield booster to top it off when I do start getting beat on. This fit even can take a few hits from proto AV but isn't much for tank on tank. although the 2 complex pg local diagnostic systems in the low slot give a very impressive passive regeneration rate. I think at all prototype levels of equipment and maxed out shield skills this would be a viable fit, as for now I have mixed results |

If you aren't dead-set on using blasters, get a missile turret. I have one on my alt, and it uses minimal PG for better modules. Works well against infantry, armor tanks, and it isn't completely useless against shields. |
