the goliath is a vehicle class designed to be a mobile weapon platform, slow but defensive capable of carrying the devastating artilery weapons designed for it.
due to the high cpu and pg output this vehicle is capable of sporting a large quantity of high grade weapons, but due ot the stress this vehicle puts on the pilot the he can only manage a medium grade weapon while piloting the vehicle.

seats - 6

turrets -
driver - medium turret
3 : large turrets
abiltiies - goliath skill - 95% reduction in cpu usage of artilery weapons.
centurion skill - 10% reduction in armor hardeners and armor repair modules cool down per level.
example artillery weapon
plasma rain - 600 cpu 45 pg - large turret
range - high arching weapon that splits into 12 round at the top of it's arching rainging explosive plasma rounds on the troops below. dealing about 200 splash damage. time between shots will be slow.
notes - I wanted to build a truly tanky vehicle, larger then any vehicle w have now, that requires a squad to operate properly, and requires a squad to bring down as well.
I also wanted to bring the much needed artilery weapons into the game, so two birds with one stone on this one. |

This wouldn't be OP if it was a 4 man squad vehicle, driver, large gunner, 2 small gunners. Meaning 1 guy couldn't just sit in the mountains/redline and destroy
I was think for Amarr tanks, they could have a Laser cannon, basically a big ass laser rifle, for minnemouse tanks I was think smaller, ligher, faster, cloak etc. basically an ambush vehicle. |

It's OP. not as bad as some dude wanting 3 large turrets on an ADS and twice a tanks tank on an LDS but it is getting there. |

eh it's just a concept really, like was mentioned it's intended to be a squad vehicle so it needs to be as powerful as the 4 people driving it, i'm not a vehicle user so I don't know the proper balance of stats on a vehicle I just wanted to get teh concept across.
as for the vehicle itself, it's supposed to be to slow to really retreat like the current hav's do, and much larger so harder to hide behind cover, keeping this in mind it will need to be able to turtle quite well to survive the salvo of AV fire being used again st it. |
