Ok, so I have recntly skilled into armor dropship and I see that the skill for logi armor dropships gives a 2% reduction to CPU, same as the sheild dropship. First thing, that needs to be changed to PG, armor dosent need reduce CPU. Second, turrets as of now seem to be very useless, I recommend either lowering the price down, at least on small turrets, or make them more effective by boosting damage on missle and rail turrets or range or something on blasters. Third, I do see that dropship are a bit of a glass cannon and kind of worthless seeing that it impossible to get points unless you risk life and limb to get kills. I recommend giving it a spawning point system, or even with the spotter bonus coming out, have that work with active scanners on vehicles. We just need another way of getting points because going for kills, especially if you dont have a well fit assault dropship can be risky and cost alot, and also reduce the sway cause by flaylocks. Finally, assault dropships in my opinion need to be a little bit stronger or more resistant to explosives in general, I mean these vehicles where made for fighting so I think they should be able to take more damage. And tge driver turret on it should, in my opinion, be able to move horizontaly as well because turrets in real life do that now, but lets just take it one step at a time. Dropships are really useful in battle but there is to much risk in flying them, I'm not say that there should be no risk, but they are just not worth that much not being able to get points on its own. Also we should start thinking about having passengers be able to fire from the cockpit and the pilot of the ship should be able to open and close the side door, probably with the square button. All these things would be really helpful, and it may seem a bit over powered, but dropships are still really expensive and as such, should be worth the cost and skills it takes to use them. |

Yea I see your point on the "shooting out of dropships" thing but, if they do have allow shooting out of them, the barrel sway would be pretty major and would be based on how much the entire ship is moving. Like lets say that you're sitting completely still in a ship, and a swarm or forge gun hits you on the left side. The people on the left with get major down force on their guns and the people on the right would have the guns go up if the entire ship rolled left, some for getting hit on the right. I don't know how this would apply to hitting in the back or front, maybe side sway? |
