There were no Ninja updates!!! The patch notes were released a week before the patch was available. I guess people forgot about the monthly updates and didn't bother to check the forums or ask anyone they know about the next patch notes. There was even a dev blog about the 1.3 patch!! |

I'm pretty sure when I looked over the dev blog they didn't mention changing academy. Like, I'm almost certain that was ninja'd. |

The dev blog only covered the changes to the flaylock and the contact grenades, the patch notes covered everything. |

As it stands right now, DUST 514 split into two different games (the ones that are in the Academy(8v8) and the ones that are not) which is going to kill this game....

You know I'd actually be down for a type of mentor like role being avalable; one with a vote or recomend like system. Once you get enough recommendations or votes they offer you ISK or AUR or even special prizes for being a mentor to new players.
Maybe a flawed system but just an idea; as a somewhat older player (play time wise not age wise; been here since closed beta.) I'd like more people to actually take in "newberries" and train them, rather then just squad with the more experienced people of their corp or alliance and leave newer players out in the dust to fend for themselves. If your a newer player and are currently looking for a corp who will squad you with good friendly players who will help teach you the ropes there are corps like mine who will do this; just have to know where to look.
