I've highlighted the important part of that quote that you missed, this line is irrelevante to real money purchases.
That's not to say it's still not covered in the EULA ... just not in the bit you quoted. |

lol, this guy is only mad because he attempted to market speculate by buying 4000 of these AUR contact grenades. He thought they'd merely be removed from the market allowing him to sell them for mucho isk in the future and apparently didn't contemplate that they would nerf the them instead. |

I wonder what part of the EULA covers bought items, I'd imagine its much the same though, you buy it but its not yours. |

This nerft is good. P2W players will have to move more towards skill based kills.
BTW, glad the flaylock is nerfed also.... just need to nerf the Mass driver more. |

CCP may be covered by their EULA, but it is quite bad form to modify and especially downgrade items that have been paid for with real money without offering the customer a refund on those items. You'd think CCP wouldn't want any more ill will between them and actual and potential customers.

Yeah, I've just had a quick scan through the EULA on my phone browser n couldn't see anything that covers it. I suspect it would be covered in the terms of sale when you buy the AUR items, I can check when I get home but it's standard practice to include a 'we can change it if we want' clause ... it's bound to be there somewhere.
I know it used to be there in closed beta, I remember reading it, perhaps it was when I bought a Merc Pack. |
