It is a distraction, something to complain about before they release a side arm that instakills people with miniature rockets that shoot perfectly straight and have ridiculous splash damage. |

I'm also curious. My guess is that there aren't enough players to keep both modes full? This is a rather pessimistic theory though.
I also noticed that the Server population count went back to showing dust and EVE players combined, rather than just Dust players.

Hopefully to make room for a new gamemode, since really we only have 2.
Probably to help with low player counts though. |

OMS was always full of people. I played it 95% of the time, now it's gone... What am I suppose to do now? Skirmish? No. Ambush? No! Mercy battles? Not enough of them and there are only proto guys in there anyways.

Yeah, recently (before the merger) it seemed common to find a squad dominating one of the two game modes and you would get matched up with or against them. The only way to get away would be to change game modes. This leads me to believe that there have been very few matches of the same type running at the same time.
Not a good sign for the game. |

This decision which no one asked for is very irritating, it was nice to be able to choose ambush when I only had time for a quick 5 min match. No I have to sit in the war barge and wait to see if its the game mode that I even want to play. |

Probably cause they didnt have enough people in each queue to make the matchmaking system work.
They should have deleted ambush and left OMS.
Now we're stuck with playing instant battle: redline snipers or instant battle: call of duty.
Neither of which sounds appealing... |

Lol. My game needed merged ambushes.
I was coasting and farming the 50 kill one with ease.
Now I have to fight hard lol.
Ccp will not tolarate clown play, AND I DIG THAT ABOUT THEM.
