When you choose which character you want, it comes up (for me) with an assignment of 5 hunter scout suits. I don't need them, so I skipped it the first tie, I'm about to get back on and I'm curious to know more about it, what's it for, why is it there, etc. thanks. |

It's a Gallente Scout suit, pre-fit with some militia modules so anyone can use it. You get five copies of them, and they are also sold in the marketplace for 40 Aurum each.
So yea, it's a militia scout with militia modules.
As for why it's there... Not a clue. Could be a dry run for daily bonuses, or the devs are trolling us. |

It's because you completed any/or all levels of a CCP challenge. It's your reward for doing it. It will keep coming up until you assign it to a character.

If you can get a decent amount of WP with those 5 suits (probably the worst role-specific fitting in the game) you win a fabulous prize!
I actually got a good amount of WP (for a suit that bad) by putting militia uplinks on it. Only got 1 kill from that garbage though, and that was from chasing a sniper off their perch into the reszone, hacking a red blaster, then killing them with it. It was indeed a badass fight for a suit that bad. |
