You proceed to assume the ScR is UP or just sucks in comparison to the AR. The comparisons repeat with different weapons. It seems the majority of you support the notion that the AR is OP, but in reality you all just have the skills suited for an AR (like most FPS gamers). It's the most popular choice for FPS players. However, other guns like the ScR require different skillsets. i.e. the Plasma Cannon. I've seen people do well with this weapon, but not most. This is simply because most people won't put the effort forward to learn how to use the weapon. Same goes for the ScR. Lots of people hate it since they claim the "overheat is ******", etc etc. Really, it's well-balanced. If you learn how to use the gun properly, then you'll do well with it. My buddy goes multiple games with KDR well over 5 and WPs in the thousands. He only uses the ScR. HTFU

It takes a clip and a half to overheat, hardly significant of a downside. People hate what kills them the most.

But then again, I'm a Scout, pretty much everything seems ridiculous.

The few times I've tried an AUR version, I liked it well enough (although it is different enough that I can see it would take some getting used to. I use an AR/SMG though..... because that's what I have BPO's for.....

Make the spread a bit larger and it would be perfectly balanced. The mass driver and plasma cannon both have a delay and an arch and a slow rocket speed, so it's really hard to use these weapons. The Tactical and Scrambler have a slower fire rate, so their bullets don't always hit where you're aiming because you might shoot at a player the instant they move away which results in a miss. This makes it harder to use. The laser rifle and sniper are situational and defensive weapons. The laser is really good if you can get a bit of a height advantage, but it still requires you to be withing a certain range. If the enemy gets too close or too far away you're screwed... Finally the shotgun, all sidearms, and the HMG are meant for close quarters. The HMG in this game is way different. It starts firing automatically, it gets more accurate the longer you fire, but doesn't do a lot of damage at range. It's meant for hiding around corners and waiting for your opponent. Most games balance the HMG damage by giving it massive spread the longer you fire, but the HMG doesn't have much spread in this game. The swarm launcher and forge guns...they're just AV weapons. ____________________ The point here is that different weapons have their own uses and are VERY effective at doing their specific roles. In games like CoD, the only thing the weapons are designed to do is kill at long, medium, or short ranges. That's it. This game has so many options for playstyles that you really have to use your weapons the way they are supposed to be used. You can't run around with a laser rifle like an assault weapon, and you can't use a close quarters weapon as a sniper. Also, There needs to be more variants for weapons like laser rifles and plasma cannons to let them be used in more than one way.

Completely different weapon comparee to AR and ScAR. The only thing the ScAR has going for it is a better sight and a bit of range. Other than that AR is vastly superior in every way, have you seen the muzzle flash on the ScAR? My girlfriend will have a seizure if she watches me use it. No joke.
