I've been gone for a few months now and I have 5.4 mill SP to distribute. I originally left because everyone in Dust was either using a AR or running people over with the light vehicles. Have the ARs / vehicles been balanced yet and if they have are the mass drivers, scrambler rifles, or laser rifles worth a damn yet? |

Scramblers are awesome.
'Free' LAV's were removed from starter fits. Mass drivers are fixed as well.

People are just now getting good with laser rifles, and the murder taxi problem is being fixed with Uprising 1.4. They've removed the free militia LAV's, so now not every nab is running around with them. AR's are still pretty common, but other weapons are seeing some decent use now.
Flaylock and Cal Logi have both been nerfed too, so yea. |

Tactical ARs where toned down but still a very good goto weapon, You missed the rise of the flaylock it seems. |

Mass drivers yes, scrambler rifles maybe, laser rifles no (although stand to get better with aiming improvements announced for 1.4).
ARs are still everywhere, but you're dreaming if you think the bread and butter weapon of most modern FPS's is going to go away just because its a sci-fi game. Its reliable and generally useful.
murder taxis are still around but most of the free infinite ones are gone. LLAVs still unkillable for the most part. |

lol... nothing much has changed.
AR's are still king (post flaylock nerf) LLAV's are still running people over as easy and ever.
If you wanna play DUST maybe wait for the next update, next month. |

1.4 in Mid to late September would be a better time to come back.
According to certain sources (  ) 1.4 is going to magically fix DUST and make it a AAA. |

Murder taxis are still murder taxis, but they removed the starter fits so the people who paid for it are the only ones who get BPO murder taxis.
ARs are still dominant where they shouldn't be. |
