I think this is exactly what we need for more variety in maps.
If you don't already know, Manus Peak and Skim Junction have changed a lot over the last year. Aside from other things, Skim junction used to have a NULL cannon and another cluster of buildings north of the center, while manus peak was almost devoid of any buildings.
While I understand why these maps were redesigned, why couldn't we keep the old ones, too?
I remember when I first played on Skim Junction, the feel was much better than it was now. It wasn't some big main outpost with a few tiny objectives around the outside. It was a series of medium outposts with one bigger one in the middle.
Manus Peak also had a completely different feel before everything was centralized around B; there was constant fighting between (what is now) A and B, while all the snipers fought over the vantage point that (what is now) C was on- it was on the concrete at the base of the tower on the hill, instead of below it.
Overall, this would be a simple way to bring more variety to the maps. |

Don't forget the "village" below what was once B. That's where I saw my first GM/Dev in a quafe suit.
I won't forget that area. The first time I ever did really well was in that cluster of buildings.
Like hell the other team was going to take that supply depot. |

Give this Manus Peak adaptation a new name with the word Manus in it
Tl;dr Give the new Manus Peak the name Manus Ridge, overhaul the graphics of the old manus peak, and give it back.
I personally think the new manus peak should be manus ridge, because CCP removed the peak. |
