Can I ask: in what way does having impaired hearing differentiate being able to just turn up the volume? that is a good questions there are different levels of hearing impairs same goes for people who are color blind some people can close there eye for a second and see just fine others can only see certain colors and not others some cant see any color same goes for hearing some people can just turn up the volume on there tv and can play just fine others cant hear out of one ear and some cant hear well or even at all out of either ear dust has alot of visual and audio important aspects to the game and alot of them we all take for granted try playing dust in black and white with no sound and try a few matches like that you will see a totaly different game and there will be many things you will miss just by doing it Funny you should mention black and white because when I first got into closed beta all I had in my new home was a 10GÇ¥ CRT TV and the format was not supported or something so everything was in black and white (also very fuzzy) so it was impossible to play. Good job there was nobody on the servers lol. Any time I encountered a play I would shoot and just see if they were friendly or enemy.
For larger engagements of even five or six, it became impossible to discern who was who, despite having been able to distinguish the dark grey from the slightly darker grey after getting used to it. |

thanks for your feedback i really hope the devs do look into options to help this situation out even if its just improving on the current system with the ability to change the display hud colors for easier detection for players changing icons over players and the map and adding in better hit detection indicators and warnings for vehicles approaching still don't know what could be done about drop ships as the only 2 ways to know there there unless there scanned to show up on the map is either hear them flying or see them that don't do much for them flying over a persons head who cant hear them until they start getting shot by it |

I think different icons would be perfect, even just have two chevrons for squaddies, one chevron for blueberries, and say, a square for raspberries. |

very good ideas just hope ccp adds these features in the game not holding my breath cause it dont seem like they honstly care about this or many of the other aspects of the game that need dramatic attention but i will continue to try to keep this thread going and not give up even though i have already left the game im now taking time out of my day to push for these features as nobody should be left out of a game just cause they have normal vision or hearing or even all there limbs as a gamer i cant stand for companys who leave these people out f games as everyone has the rights to enjoy the games just like the rest of us do |

They first have to cater to the majority as they are largest in number and thus largest in wallet. it is unfortunate but I think with the minimal work required to cater to minorities in even the smallest capacity, more companies will be adding in support for minority players. |

actually its not harsh its fair if i refused to employ someone due to them having a handicap i wouldnt be in bussiness to long game companies do the same thing by excluding people with disabilities from playing there game |
