This time it's not my cat
I have, too often, turned a corner and started firing but my mercenary crouches for an unknown reason. I'm not hitting triangle. I honestly have tried my best to recreate it but have not been able too.
What I know:
- It happens when I turn a corner fast
- Immediately fire
- I start out by sprinting around the corner, but the distance is so small so I'm sprinting for a very very short period.
- Sometimes my weapon switches as well, but I believe that to be a slipping finger
- In all the occurrences, there have been enemies (shoot back)
I'll try to recreate as often as possible but it's really stupid. I believe that it could be possible that I am being hit before I turn the corner (like my hitbox is ahead of me) (I do run light frame). |

I have a similar problem but instead of crouching it'll melee when I hit R1. It's gotten me killed many times. |

ok so this continues to happen but I don't think that corners are a key variable. It happens most often when turning corners but apparently I don't need to. Still only occurs with enemies nearby. |

I've experienced randomly slowing down to a crawl when being fired upon. It's not always, but at times enemy fire will pull me from a sprint and my movement becomes as if walking (or maybe it is crouching!) I have to re sprint or jump to pull out of it.
I have a mate who swears its the toxin weapons and that it is by design. |

I've seen this with HMGs.
Also, it will just randomly switch to sidearm.
Or, not fire at all when triggered.
Just started happening in the last week or 2.
Same on 2 different DS3s. |

Thank god it's not just me. Show of hands if you are lightframe/scout. Perhaps hitbox issues could be a problem. |

I knew there was something weird about seeing so many heavies crawl walking along. they are fun to pounce on with my knives. hehe.
IT's a struggle lately. Wepaon switching sometimes doesn't occur after hitting the button. There is quite a delay sometimes. Then anything hitting your collision box cancels your sprinting. So if you are in a busy area sprinting become s abutton mashing fest, and that's if you don't get shoved into a crouch you have to mash out fo before you can mash and sprint again.
I'm hoping 1.4 fixes it. |

I've had it happen less often (but I've been gunning for DS more often) but it appears that I wasn't alone. I have noticed weird weapon switching delays as well, sometimes associated sometimes not. |

I thought I was the only one! It only happens when I'm using my shotgun, however, not on any other character does the melee thing happen. It's so weird.
I thought I was just being bad or something. |

I've had a sneaking suspicion this game screws with the DS3 drivers somehow since my last controller stopped working (buttons somehow remapped even outside the game), but that was a long time ago and hasn't happened since. |

For some reason it's a little more than unintentional crouching:
Recently I've been noticing that when my mercenary 'shuts down' into this slow crawl, for the first few moments it seemed like my left thumbstick movement was the culprit. DS3. Could be a bugged out command? |

I was able to recreate it on purpose once:
Quickly flicking left thumbstick forward and backward while flicking right thumbstick up and shooting.

Yep this is definitely the culprit, I was able to recreate it multiple times.
You quickly flick back and forth on the left stick, maybe even wiggle the right rapidly.
It can be recreated folks. |
