I'm specced into Caldari HAV's and large hybrid turrets, but recently put some points into large missile turrets. Seeing as how they don't have the range of my lovely railguns, I found myself roaming around the map, bombarding infantry and HAV's alike, or at least providing enough of a threat for them to focus on me for a bit, giving my teammates a higher chance of success.
All good. But then...
I heard the little rumbling hum of an LAV. It ripped out of an exit from the city (town?), and was basically a murder taxi driver enjoying his day, listening to some Beach Boys, the usual. I knew that I could tear him a new one with my missiles -- if only I could keep up with him. He literally ran a circle around my HAV, then ran back the way he came. (Lol. Ballsy, but not crazy.)
Anyways, I have a mod that gives my missiles +7% damage, but I can't afford to slap on a module that increases my turret tracking speed by 28%, because it would use too much PG, and I'd like to keep my 5800 shields.
So should I stick with the damage mod, or dump it in favor of a tracking mod?

Thanks for any input. Forget about tracking mods :PI tried to use Tracking Computer II for battle or two, but they are active only 10 seconds - and this makes them totally worthless. In situation you describe AfterBurner(ground speed booster) would be useful, Gunner with AV grenades, or L-Blaster Turret ;). |
