rename a random planet in eve
1X 7 day active booster
20X Creodron breach HAV (yay a militia tank)
20X kaalakiota tactical HAV (another militia tank)
75 million ISK
2nd place:
1X 3 day active booster
20X Creodron breach HAV
20X kaalakiota tactical HAV
50 million ISK
3rd place:
1X 1 day active booster
12X harbinger amarr medium frame suit
5X LC-225 Saga II
All the ingame items are generic crap. Why would any 1 wanted to fight for that? Seriously militia grade tanks? I think they should up the rewards for it. Change out the militia tanks for gunnlogis/madrugars AUR variants, tripple the ISK reward and give out 30day, 14 day and 7 day boosters as rewards. In the closed beta tourny the winner got officer weapons, a officer dropsuit and a BPO LAV (angel cartel saga) for the winner team. I think there should be a BPO dropship this time. After all its supposed to be something worthwhile fighting for. And no a random planet out of the gazillion planets in eve is nothing that dust players have a interest in. If it would be a station we might had some interest. Just imagine you could rename Jita to "scam-o-mania" or "ripoff station". |

Planet's name of your choice (must be CCP approved  ) is a good prize. Two clone packs worth of ISK is good as well. First rename your planet then move your clones in... Is it that bad?
The tanks are good for clearing any occupied districts on the renamed planet... After some retrofitting worth of remaining 15 mil ISK... |

It's more for lore than anything. Mordu's Legion is supposedly hosting this tournament, and they're a minor faction, so they won't exactly be rolling in the dough. Also, if you look at their EVElopedia page, it's for all intents and purposes, a stub. These recent events should be something to add to it.
If you think you're too good for it... don't participate.

The original EVE tourney prizes started small and now look at them. give it time and they will be worth it in the end. i think the signup/registration process needs looking at though. its a bit of a ball ache |
