Do you guys foresee the mcc commander role being tied to vehicle skills or its own set of mcc skills?
Do you think an mcc will be able to be purchased by a single player or only by corperations?
Will it only have a use in PC or can you think of a way for there to be a commander for instant battles?
I personally think it should be tied to vehicle skills that way you can check that you are able to be a commander but also can serve a role if you aren't picked as commander for instant battles.
Thoughts/ideas?
Assuming dust doesn't crash and burn that is. |

And on that note, what will the commander do?
We know about dropping installations but what else? I picture him dropping platoon orders with similar effects to squad orders.
Will he see the overhead map screen or a different screen all its own?
Rewards for winning an instant battle assuming they're available? |

I could see, if you bought your own mcc, a similar fitting process as with vehicles, which would put them in vehicle skills, but other than improving ones ability to fit an mcc, what skills would the role have?
And militia, or sponsored mcc purchases could be used in jnstant battles to let people learn the role.
Would also maybe like to see an ability for pilots to launch flying vehicles directly from the mcc, once we have more than dropships. |

the way i see it the commander role will be restricted to certain game types and will be its own seperate role.
there was talk at one point that the MCC commander role would be done on PC or tablet archatecture as well, with a top down RTS flavor.
i see MCC command as having a different payout structure to compensate for their expence (good commanders can afford better MCCs ebcause they will win more oftin, but bad commanders will role int he cheapest of the cheap)
if its incorperated into the PS3 dust side then it would almost have to be a seperate que (as in que as MCC command)
the skills would relate to instalation health/damage, squad bonuses, and maybe even the MCC itself although having a militai MCC VS a proto one would greatly effect the game and give a HUGE edge to whoever was piloting the proto.
i dont think they have decided what exactly they want to do with it yet, but i want to be able to set down squad orders and command a team from above. |
