Oculus Rift is focusing on PC and Mobile gaming platforms. There will be plenty of awesome games to use it with, just don't expect them on the playstation platform. |

It's not a failure, it is still under development.
It is true that its aimed at the PC. I don't know that it will ever interface with a console though. |

Sony have their own "VR" headset to be released iirc, or was already released(?)
It has been rated as inferior to the Oculus, higher latency gyros, and only 2 axis, also smaller screens.
Saw an Episode of Good Game, where they tried a dev kit version of the Oculus on every game they reviewed for that episode. Bajo had some serious nausea issues with it on some games  ... just warning that your brain may take some retraining to use it effectively... (heard alot of people saying that looking at your virtual body helps, and that games without a virtual body are more nausea inducing.)
