I am suggesting that neutral buildings be worthless for destroying, this would include, cru's, ammo depos, and especially turrets. The reason why is because tanks are simply going around and destroying all the turrets, even ones that their own team are trying to capture or would be vital in protecting territory. I would have suggested going with a minus to the players destroying the neutral instalations because this is not just denying an assest to the enemy this is denying an assest to your team. But in the effort to be fair and not be hateful towards tankers, lets go for no points.
1. Neutral building can not fight back at all, they should never give the same wip as an enemy owned turret or building. 2. They could have been claimed by your team and been a valuable assest. 3. People need to learn not to just fire at everything they see. 4. Tanks are incosiderately destroying turrets while people are actually trying to cap them, showing how little they care about the team and their side.
For these listed reasons, I want neutral buildings to be worth 0 wip for being destroyed, otherwise it is just giving extra points for people that use forge guns and tanks that just want to destroy them for extra wip. They should not count for anything that you might be trying to achieve such as the mordu's legion objestive of destroying 100 buildings. |

When has turrets EVER been a valuable asset? Pilots kill installations because they are a danger. If they stay up, we can die. That's why we kill them. And we mainly kill turrets because they're annoying as ****. Plus, that's 1/4 of the wp's needed for a OB for my sq. And even if it did get no wp, I would still blow them up. It's not like you fools will defend them
Also, it's WP (War Points).

Plenty of times, I have seen them kill LAV's, LLAV's least the drivers, kept tanks at bay, frustrated an enemy infinitry advance with the blaster turret. I have also defended several turrets before when they are positioned well. However, you also completely skipped over the other buildings, such as CRU's and Ammo depos. I have also used a turret to single handedly kill off five enemy infintry they got so frustrated that they changed over to swarm launchers just to kill the turret after they respawned. The point is they can be very valuable at times, and why should you get full credit for something that isn't even fighting back? Do you think you deserve 100 WP which is 2 infintry kills for killing something that won't even shoot at you? What do you think would be an actual fair amount for killing a neutral turret. Also, why should you be getting 1/4 of the points needed for an OB for killing neutral objects that had no bearing within the fight? If you still want to kill them when they are 0 WP that's fine, but you should not be getting full pay of WP for something that can't even fight against you. |
