How about a Swarm Launcher variant that shoots one large, very high damage, very slow moving projectile?
Current prototype Swarm Launchers do a base of 6x330 for a total of 1980 damage, with a 1.2s lock-on time. I propose one projectile, doing a base of 2500 damage, with a 5 second lock-on time, unlimited fuel, and can move around obstacles.
Here's the catch(es) though: -It moves at 1/4 the speed of regular swarms -Is larger (maybe about the size of a crouched Heavy), allowing it to be shot and destroyed before it can hit (but can't be targeted by other swarms though) -The driver/pilot of the vehicle receives a constant warning alarm when the projectile is within 50m
Maybe give it about 2000HP?
Just something I came up with while playing, thought it might be interesting. An ominous death-ball, perpetually pursuing your dropship. Slowly. |

Can I use my regular swarm to lock onto it?

hmm not sure what the need for this would be i'd rather they put in an amarr light av weapon so we can be rid of those pesky Charybdis and gunlogi which shrug off proto swarms like they were nothing. |

No need, just though it would be interesting. Would force vehicles to stay on the move, rather than just sitting behind the redline, or behind cover. |

Would also kinda force dropship pilots to have gunners instead of using them like your personal elevators.
Tanks would all have to REALLY consider what turret to put on top for there gunner to use as the wrong one means that there tank is gonna be DUST in the wind.
`Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST . |

Or they'll have to have ground support watching their back. |

True, but I was looking at it from a pub match perspective as, let's face it, team play is not that common.
Lol just imagined a LAV that is rushing me and I bring out the behemoth of a launcher and blow his ass to DUST 2028
