Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to infiltrate and destroy a remote controlled enemy research facility. The facility itself is of little importance, but denying the enemy of resources is. Destroy their defences and get out alive.
Clone count: 4, players 1-4.
No enemies except red turret installations. For added difficulty, beef their hp and damage and also number of turrets. |

PVE needs to happen ASAP.
People will play a flawed, but interesting game. They will not play a flawless but boring (to them) game.
Thus new content, especially pve, should be the highest priority for now. At least until reviews are sounding like "Dust is cool, but buggy as hell" instead of "Dust has nothing to offer". |

Is there any chance we can rally support for this idea. It should be very easy to implement, just use Ambush OMS as a template and set the turrets to hostile. |

Come on guys, we need support for this. Surely there's not more than a day's hard work for one guy in this idea to provide us with rudimentary PvE! This is a fantastic opportunity to get out of the monotony of PvP and being stomped all the time.
Please guys, let's get behind this idea and we could get PvE tomorrow! |

Sure people will argue that if CCP gives us all the content now how can it be a 10 year game.... simple..... players need to feel like thinks are changing in their game.... when they do they are forgiving.... if I felt like this game was changing because suits and vehicles were coming out then I would be less scathing of it.
Once core content has been released and the basic stuff in here, they can then do their balancing acts and what not till the cows come home, then slowly release new content.
Anywho PVE is a must. Half the time I don't even want to play with the other assholes like me out there and would rather play with my corp or squad or friends in some simple, entertaining PvE scenarios. |

PvE doesn't have to be elaborate, it can be as rudimentary as shooting npc installations but at least it allows for some fun to be had if you're getting stomped in the head match after match. |

PVE is totally necessary for players to have a break from the pub-stomping while diversifying the player base. Not to mention it gets new players into the mind set to change their line of thinking with building loadouts (i.e., fittings in DUST) and how they want to approach the game in respect to their allocation of SP to where they will be specializing for both PVE and PVP.
PVE is a MUST!!! New content will only go so far as to expand the player base, while PVE can do the same job but at a more accelerated rate. |
