Oh yeah? How long would you say it would take a player using a standard flaylock and no damage mods to take down an LAV? Probably a very, very long time. Would they be able to do it without a nanohive? Probably not. Would they be able to do it at all? Probably not. |

I feel like AV is powerful enough right now and should require a very dedicated fit in order to take out a vehicle. By making it a sidearm you'd be allowing everyone and their uncle to hit vehicles harder than they already are with AV grenades. |

Agreed, the flaylock is not an AV weapon but it is good at finishing off LAV's that are almost toast. |

It is very stupid to use a flaylock against LAVs i only use them against LAVs is when they try to run me over cos my flaylock pushes them around and in case you did not know, i hear AV grenades are out |

@OP, yes there needs to be AV sidearms, but only strong enough to take out a MLT LAV W/O mods so it'll have to be WEAK.
right now just use the flaylock, there you go flipped dropships and bouncing LAVs. |

No. AV should not be something everyone can have just as a back up to their AR or HMG. Vehicles would never stand a chance. To be of any use against vehicles it would have to deal at least 500 damage per shot and unless you add some mechanic to make it AV only, that's outrageous anti infantry damage too. If it were that powerful, everyone would run it as their reform and no vehicle would last a minute in battle because people wouldn't even need a supply depot to change to AV gear. |
