With the gimping of the Caldari Logistics suit in 1.3, I either have to come up with 777,000 SPs to get back some of the CPU, or I have to give up some equipment.
I surveyed some of my chat groups about what equipment is least needed, Nanohives, Injector, or armor rep tool.
The vote is split down the middle of injector or rep tool. Leaning towards rep tool.
I don't understand how this is good for the game. I have to stand, unarmed, in the hail of bullets to revive you with my injector, and they are going to reduce my shield extensions and take away how much equipment I can carry.
My friend said it is to stop abuse of the logi suit. But another person said that Amarr logi's are getting an additional weapon - sidearm added? So is it just that Caldari is a hated race?
Once again, they are taking away something I skilled into, based on the specs they offered. This seems like such an injustice. It took a lot of work to get to proto level Caldari Logistics. Now it's kind of worthless.
My friend said that if she finds it too hard to adjust to the change, that it will be the end of her playing Dust. She's been on for over 5 months, proto Caldari Logi too.
Anyway, if you are a Caldari Logi, what equipment are you planning to give up to make the adjustment, or are you changing to a different suit? |

You could still keep all your equipment if you get an SMG as your weapon. |

Or Perhaps drop one of those 5 Complex Shield Extenders for a Enhanced One. |

I recommend putting a CPU Enhancer. Complex is recommended along with having all the skills that increase your CPU/PG on the suit. I'm going to try and make my fit work, but if after I make my changes it starts to suck then I'll just go play... Something PS4 |

Haha last build(Chromosome) I skilled into SMGS and put them on my Logi and started getting hate mail. They are pretty great at Proto but I prefer to have the extended range that AR's provide. |

I thought that SMGs were only as side-arms, which Caldari Logis don't have a slot for? |

I have enhanced CPU extenders. To get to complex takes 777,000 more SPs. But you are still taking up a slot that could be used for protection. |

That's funny you say that. Even before the CPU nerfing of over 40, there is not enough CPU to have more than 3 complex extenders even if I was that stupid.
I am at level 4 for suit electronics. It's 777,000 SPs to get to level 5. No big deal. It's just an arbitrary change from the Devs.
They are giving 5% bonus to a role, that is healer. Healers don't need fast recharge, they need hardened shields so they can lower their weapons and apply healing either armor repair or revive with injector.
It's arbitrary. At this point, I am not going to risk using the injector with a squishy suit.
So if your proto doesn't get revived and I was standing right next to you, and you lose 200, on your suit and equipment, please thank the arbitrary Devs that implemented this change. |
