The group Bloody Hands of Matar just torched an Impetus facility in Atlanins, killing 7 and woundind 13.

Soon after, Minmatar fringe terrorist group the Bloody Hands of Matar claimed responsibility, issuing a statement saying the attack was revenge for the death of Karin Midular.
According to their statement, GÇ£The assassination of a Ray of Matar at the hands of foreign powers cannot go unpunished. Our anger will not be quenched until the pain and suffering the Minmatar people felt at her loss is revisited on those who perpetrated her death.GÇ¥
The attack came shortly after workers arrived at the facility for their daily shifts. According to reports from survivors, a freight vehicle parked itself in front of the main exit at which point several men in hoods emerged from the rear and began tossing incendiary devices at the building. The truck blocked the exit and, as the flames quickly spread, a stampede broke out as workers rushed to escape out the rear entrance, causing several injuries.
Emergency responders were on the scene in minutes, but by that time the three-story building was in flames. According to officials, a section of the building collapsed, trapping several workers in an underground storage area where they died from smoke inhalation before rescuers could reach them.
The Minmatar Republic and Gallente Federation have denounced the incident as an act of terrorism. GÇ£The Federation has our full support in apprehending these terrorists,GÇ¥ read a statement from Republic Security Services head Adrand Allsvert.
The Black Eagles have similarly pledged to bring the attackers to justice, with Director Mentas Blaque saying, GÇ£The safety of the people of the Federation is my paramount priority. I will stop at nothing to see these criminals brought to justice for their actions.GÇ¥
Prior to this attack, the Bloody Hands of Matar have primarily been known to attack Amarr targets and have been responsible for several high profile bombings in the Empire. Prior to the ascent of Maleatu Shakor to the position of Sanmatar, they had called for Midular's death and have never recanted those statements.
Before you all Gallente(or Amarr) fanatics start raising pitchforks and demand a war on the Minmatar, you should know that this was the act of a single terrorist cell, not some Tribal Council mandated mission to "take revenge" on the Gallente. I hope the terrorists can be brought to justice and punished accordingly, this whole farce for the death of Midular has been going on for long enough. |

The Gallente court didn't judge the Midular assassin to death, but extradited him to the Minmatar Republic, where he was sentenced to death and then executed.
And this place is not to argue about which Empire is better, so you could you be so kind as to shut up? |

So you want the Matari extradite Matari terrorists into, Minmatar?
And if you didn't know it, GalNet does not equal Gallente Federation, freedom of speech isn't the same here. I created this thread to share the terrorist acts to the rest of the mercenaries, not as an excuse for a baklaand Gallente and Caldari argue which flawed governmental system is better. If you don't like it, take it somewhere else, but not in my thread. |

As to the terrorist attack, this was not the fault of the Minmatar, it will take much more for them to lose our respect, and fall out of our alliance. ONE small terrorist attack cannot reflect an entire nation.
as to the Dragonaurs, they Did such horrific things to the federation, that was a much more painful hate filled attack, that sparked a whole new series of conflicts.
Yun was speaking metaphorically, you are spreading out your ideas of freedom and rights as the universal truth, that it's the only right way to live. What she is trying to say that the Gallente people here especially have been very active on forcing their own ideals on other nations because they believed their government was the best and only way to lead a nation.
Then there's him. I'm starting to think the Gallente are looking more and more like theAmarr with this kind of behavior. |
