Phenomenally bad. Now I know that bad aiming + shot gun= your pissing in the wind, (unless you sneak up on them) but coming from BF3 and kill zone, the flaws here really stick out.
Example: I join a match already in full swing. quick gloves and sever are fighting... well sever. training I guess. So I pop in first with my AV milita suit, cause I was originally planning on just chillin at end of map, and get killed no problem. So I then switch over to my tekka suit. Sexy and badass, It's time to take names!
MY FIRST SHOT WITH MY SHOTTY AT CENTER RANGE DOES NOT REGISTER. (Thank you ccp) So I already know what of match I'm gonna have. anyway, seeing my name up, sever decides to squat down with 4 blokes at my objective.

shut up. My objective. So I'm thinking switch to proto? HA. with the way my shotty is acting? nope. I try and spice it up, by switching. But when I switch to my six sin smg, I'm holding nothing. Yup, nothing. switch back to my shotty, then back to my smg. There it is! and all this is happening mid fight. Anyway, the gents of sever or making me feel unwelcomed at their new squalor joint, so sadly I wave good bye and bid adieu.

Like a lion hunting the one at broke from pack. this time I don't waste my time with shotty, I already have my smg out. he stood no chance. died six times that match. 2 of which was my fault. NOW, how is it a rogue like me can die very little in KZ and BF and MAG. or are all those games just not up to DUST standards?
The difference in control and feel in Dust from other FPS games is such that it's the one common thing that is brought up in ever negative review of the game. And this is the thing, THEY are all not wrong. *sighs* I know you guys are working on it ccp.
But what if ladies were looking at that match? and never saw me play in other matches?

Take a look at Fenrir post. Now.. DO YOU think aiming is going to really be fixed by 1.4? Chrome aim was slightly better than it is now. But that's like saying that stepping on dog **** is slightly better than stepping on a big old cow plat.
Been here since closed beta.. tell me again why hearing "aiming is being fixed" hasn't got us shot gun users just as worried as seeing a mosquito leaving Magic Johnsons house?

Like you need aim assists in BF3 close quarters. lol I'll put up a vid of me just turning corners just hip firing and taking people out. or my favorite the HAIL MARY nade throw over obstacles. gets em 80% of the time. Maps are too small, and people just get funneled or clustered in that making kills just by already firing while turning any corner will net you a kill or kills.
worst you empty a clip. big woop. Is there no aim assists? Hell yeah there is. and I'll say maybe you are right with BF3.
Now there is mag, vegas2, KZ, TF2, tribes, any every other FPS. Or is dust the purist of the not holding your hand shooter out here. and people just don't understand how amazing dust is? ...........yeah. |

Notice that I'm not complaiing about my second match. just 1/2. my second match I ran all militia suit, and low and behold I did exceptiannly better. Got my fare share of deaths, but for the most part I got around the aiming to get out on top. but at least my AR wasn't missing at a close enough range to think "I wonder if your girl knows that's not her perfume on you?"
*how you know what there girls perfume smells like? *
Sighs.. shot guns. I'm still not giving them up tho. |
