I have had this happen to me more than once and I want some opinions on this from fellow pilots. Whether I'm hovering over enemies and having my gunner sweep them or I'm evading swarms and strafe running with my cycled missile launcher; an invisible bolas whether it be friendly or foe appears right in my flight of path or comes down apon me from a blind side and wipes me out of the sky no matter if it be a scrape or a crash at the speed of an 80 year old colon at lunch time. Has this happen to others? or am i a magnet to not only forge guns and swarms, but bolas with the best of intentions. Would you guys think this should be fixed or left alone. |

It's not another dropship that's hitting me its the vehicle deliverer that's a One hit for dropships. |

I have had it happen also but has anyone had a floating chunk of ground kill their drop ship? Because its only happened once 2 me but it did happen |

I don't see how getting owned by the dolly that plays yoyo with all my damn vehicles is fun. It's a nice way to waste 700k ISK, though. |

Ah, those are called RDV's, or Rapid Deployment Vehicles.
Was (apparently) a big problem in the last build, but since I'm not seeing many people cry about it, it seems that the problem was mostly fixed. I say mostly because... well, we're here discussing it. |

Yes, but the RDVs have names as well. The Caldari one is called the Bolas. |

Holy crap I havent had that happen to me before...I'm sorry for your loss. I'll be sure to pour out the rest of my 40oz for all the dropships we lost today that shouldnt have been lost ... This ones for you popo |

Oh yeah, sorry for the confusion. i usually call them bolas or dollies. Bolas its the name I usually see and dolly cause...well.. they dolly the vehicles in. |

they are kinda a pain I mean you can usually hear them in time, but if you fly off in the wrong direction your out of luck |

We used to deploy this tactic when dropships were horribly OP, everybody in the squad would call in a LAV at the same time. Buh-bye dropship

Yeah, there is a map with a floating tile that can kill dropships. |

Hahaha oh god I'm glad I wasn't a pilot back then. As frustrating as it is now to losea ds to a random one, I cant imagine what the butthurt feels like to lose one to a synchronous plot  |
