You know, coincidentally the politics in this game play out a lot like in real life politics. You start off with a bunch of little guys who eventually get decimated enough to join up with some other small guys. All those guys decide they guess they can see eye-to-eye with another group of guys. The cycle continues until nothing but two giant conglomerates are left because it's the only way anyone can feel "safe" about pushing their interests.

There's just too much "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" mentality in a game that's supposed to be about us killing each other.

Like what's the point of being in a big alliance if nobody is fighting them anymore. There are a couple corps in Eon that I thought about joining but then I said to myself: why? I will never PC against anyone worth fighting and I don't really get a paycheck. Basically, I'm asking CCP to reward aggressive alliances and punish farm ville. Not BC Eon plays farm ville, but BC farm ville goes against awesomeness. Perhaps opening up more star systems so smaller corps don't need "protection" from Eon. Why doesn't Eon just absorb all of the small corps at this point BC I don't see another war happening until we get more constellations.

Man you're really out for blood. I don't recall doing what you're mentioning. Yes Im using Fused Nades to get rid of them before 1.3. I have about 40 left. Yet I'm willing to bet about 50m ISK that I could outgun you. Last I recall you've only been able to kill me with Nades as well.

I was part of two first one we dicked off cuz we didn't know who we were going against second was close and third we won

And I was one of the strongest opponents against it. Don't get me wrong, TeamPlayers has some amazing players and you guys are definitely one of the best. I don't deny you any of that.

That being said, I stuck with my corp cause I enjoy the people I play with that are in this corp. I think anyone would do the same. This is a case where our players were supposedly wanting a sense of "stability" because we had just gotten our asses kicked by TeamPlayers in a few PC matches, which cascaded into several great members leaving the corp for Hellstorm, among others. Im sure each person has their reasons which go beyond that simplification, but in effect it came down to the rest of us feeling pretty desolate.

We were subsequently kicked from the alliance for supposedly initiating hostilities without consulting the alliance. And yet only four (4) days later did LoI declare war on EoN.

I saw 0.H as a great collection of players that could field a solid 16-man team to beat TeamPlayers. We were pretty on par with you guys combat wise but were getting beaten strategically. It was great fun playing a team that actually made us take a step back and realize no one can really ever claim to be the best. And yet, after all that we decided that instead of trying to beat the "better" corp we would join them.

Pub stomping is fun and all but the goal of this game is to supposedly be competitive. I would much rather be fighting you guys and losing then not fighting at all. We are here to shoot and kill each other, survival of the fittest, not sit here and have tea parties about who has the biggest colorful sphere on the Starmap.
