If the same person gets killed 3 times within 45/60 Seconds then the third death is an instant kill, Respawn resets the counter.
Should also be easy enough to implement.

Sounds reasonable, you shouldn't be able to be revived that many times in so short a space of time anyway. Eventually you have to stay dead. |

Should follow something like the old Battlefield's revive system. When you first die (not a headshot) you're given the maximum timer available to be revived, when you die again, your timer is shortened, if you die a 3rd time, you have a very short time to be revived. Cant remember if the 3rd or 4th death is considered unrevivable, its been awhile. Theres no reason to have infinite revive system, it encourages run-and-gun. |

Reducing bleedout counter after death or a blunt limit to revives before instadeath sounds good enough to me.

Time to sound like a geek (but then we're gamers so it's ok).
I always assumed that we had something like this already. I imagined our deaths worked like they do in tabletop games like Pathfinder and D&D - meaning your hit points have to reach a certain negative number to be fully dead. To me this explains why a grenade kills you outright, and why in some cases you can be killed multiple times.
Let's say the negative total is 100 HP. If you take a glancing blow for 25 HP when you are at 0 already, you still have another -75 HP available when you are revivied. If the next time you take 50HP, you are at a total negative of 75 (not not at the 100 limit already). You can be revived again and again until 100 is reached for that clone.
This is why grenades, massdrives, etc kill you outright.
I could easily be wrong, but that is my perception, and I am ok with it working this way.
