I would very much like my rewards for completing Mordu's Challenges. While a GM helpfully and most infuriatingly told me what constituted a hack had changed (this whole vehicle not counting debacle) and there wasn't anything they could do. I'm not buying it.
For those that don't know what I'm on about the first DEVblog states clearly that vehicles are included.

The issue I have is that during the challenge I went to the first DEVblog to clarify what I needed to count to get my 100 shiny pixel tanks, so I counted my vehicle hacks as well, and thought over 160 should well guarantee the award. And yes, there is a blog that now states they do not, the old one was not changed nor was this change pointed out. And even more frustratingly that newer DEVblog points to the older one for "More information on this and future DUST 514 events planned for the summer can be found in the official DUST 514 July Events Developer Blog."
Simply I request that CCP honour their mistake and award those that worked hard to finish their challenge. (yea, it's a game but it took time and effort so I'm calling it work) or if you can no longer tally vehicle hacks do some similar retribution...say 50 hacks assuming half where vehicles?
TL;DR CCP messed up with telling us the requirements for the hacks challenge. I request they honour their mistake. (I want Falchion's to suicide run damn it) |

They did not. Second link is the only one that is actual full event details info. You've been instructed to wait for the full dev blog that they published and honored those rules. |

Did you even read the page or are you trying to troll me?
From the first page (Jul 02)
"These goals and event rewards are as follows:
...
100x Objective Hacks GÇô (includes vehicles, CRU, turrets, supply depots and the skirmish objectives. Hack assists do not count)
..."
And at no point on that page is there any mention of "wait for the full dev blog", all the info for the event is there. Hell. That IS a dev blog, by CCP cmdr wang. So no, they haven't honoured their published rules, because they published two conflicting sets of rules. |
