Well then I would certainly be back when it came out rebooted. However, I don't think the game needs a reboot, I think it needs to start trying to live up to what was promised and connect this game to Eve. I'm sorry, but orbitals don't count, especially when its only stronger orbitals you get with an Eve pilot in orbit.

CCP needs to quit screwing around with this piddly crap and start doing some of the following IMHO:

1. Remove MCC orbitals from PC (if you have an Eve pilot you can get orbitals, if not too bad)
2. Allow mercs to buy and sell equipment amongst ourselves
3. ISK flow between Eve and Dust
4. Put in some resource that eggers want that only mercs can get
5. Have mercs need Eve resources (maybe officer level gear only makeable in Eve and thus need to be bought or traded for with Eve pilots)

If CCP doesn't sack up and connect these games than this will remain a half-assed FTP lobby shooter and suck

oh ok you're referring to the connection between eve and dust, i was referring to the core shooting experience, tacticism etc. I know, for example that the "commander" of the MCC would have been allowed to give orders and move the MCC on a certain spot.. (I'm referring to an old, old, old devblog). Currently, skirmish is a strange game mode, i really don't like it, but the old skirmish...well that's another story. I know, i came from MAG, and all i wanted was a space MMOFPS/MMORPG MAG, with huge scenarios where hundreds of people fight for a research lab ( for example ). Maybe it's just not the game i was looking for....

If they were just going to move forward looking to steal Lobby Shooter $$$$$ from Activision, lolno, I'd stick around to troll but CCP would get $0 from me. If they were moving in a direction that was more befitting of the title MMOFPS, I would stick it out til the servers imploded. Think Eve with guns and grenades instead of spaceships and spreadsheets. Free roam, open world FPS PvP/PvE/PvEvP.

Maybe it's just not the game i was looking for.... I want all that stuff too, but I think I've given up on large scale battles. Dust/Eve connection could actually happen. What made me want to play this game when I'd avoided multiplayer shooters before is it was supposed to have some meaning, currently it has none.

I would say that makes complete sense. The only way I can see the game being live lengthening development time is because it seems CCP is so focused on balance issues which I can mostly blame on us whiney players. What makes that so funny to me is that even if by some miracle Dust became perfectly balanced, it would still just be a perfectly balanced boring 16 v 16 lobby shooter with the same old maps, team deathmatch, king of the hill, and domination gamemodes as it stands right now.

I know they're working hard on this game, and it does improved over only 2 months... perhaps is the whole concept wrong? I really don't know. What I know is that once you have 15+ MLN SPs there's no point in playing Dust anymore. But I know another thing, people still play Battlefield even if they reached the cap. I was still playing MAG even if I capped, reached lvl 70 with all three factions many many many times...hell I would probably still play MAG if there were enough people for a domination!! What I mean is...Dust needs to be funny. It needs to be reworked imo.
