edit: Let's say I'm messaging a buddy.
I say "Hey, what's up?" in the message title
I hit start (enter), and it changes the text to all caps.
If I open up the title box to edit the text, the text appears in all caps in the edit box as if I had inputted it that way.

Hope that helps some. To make it clear, it appears in all caps immediately after entry, and remains in caps when you edit an entry.

What input are you using? Sounds like you're using a controller. Do you have the chat pad?

EDIT: Follow up. Are you using SD output or HD output from your PS3?

I see streams of people playing where the text is normal, and capitalization occurs when it's wanted. On my PS3, everything appears in capitals. This began to occur after Uprising. Was something in the code changed? I can confirm this by typing in a dust channel with my EvE character, and on my PS3 reading it in complete capitals. Any change to this would be appreciated.

I am using a SD screen and keyboard myself.

I did get a reply message from someone the other day that was just my initial message but it was in all caps instead. Chat is fine on my end anyway, I'll ask my corpies and see what they say.
