Will there be a respec? I would like one because I'm stuck with this suit. It sucks to only have one suit then later on released a new suit that i might i want to use. The amarr heavy suit would be just a waste of SP when this happens.
Would this mean that every Caldari logy would want a repsec? Some say said there suit was "nerfed" It will work the same way just not with stacked up HP. Maybe a full respec is to much. Refund the suit SP? Again Caldari logys would asked for the same thing? |

This is what I would expect, simply refund SP from Ammar Heavy frame and Sentinel, nothing more.
However just because someone found updated art for the Minnie heavy does not mean we'll actually get it anytime soon. I'm still betting on 3 months minimum before more racial variants of any frame are added. |

Might just quit the game. Come back in 3-6 months or just play to cap out every week. |

This is one of the few circumstances in which I favour a partial respec. Future frontline rifles: AR & SR respec. Future racial frames: equivalent frames respec. I'd draw the line at specialisations though. That is; I'd let a Minmatar scout respec into an Amarr Scout, but I wouldn't let a Minmatar scout respec into a future Minmatar light specialisation. |

That's what I'd recommend, I have played maybe 30 mins in the last 3 weeks, stopped buying Aur about 30-40 days ago.
Honestly I get more enjoyment matching wit's with fellow forum trolls then I do grinding away for SP. It became a chore to cap out personally and at 13mill AFK'ing is no longer necessary IMO. |

According to CCP's official responses, only if there is a new racial will they consider respecs and then ONLY for the effected heavy skills, new "types" like the commandos will not. |

The only sane approach is to offer refunds of the Amarr based Heavy skills, and to have them reallocated to the race of your choice. They need to just release the last 5 suits in one fell swoop, and be done with it (3 heavies, 2 scouts) Do it on a case by case basis like they handled the past respec and the negative ISK debacle. Have a GM go into the account, and swap out the skill for you per your help ticket. If they want to be kind, they will swap out your Amarr suits for the appropriate races suits.
Any other way is madness, and this isn't Sparta. |

I agree that repecs should be given to certain skills. Like refunding sp that was put into the heavy suit. But the SP should be locked into heavy suits. That way they aren't changing their role completely. When the pilot suit comes out however... I'm not sure how this will work sense its just a new heavy racial suit. The pilot suit would probably refund the race/frame skill with the highest SP count you have. Then lock the SP to that specific race/frame or to the pilot suit. |

Still wouldn't be enough, sometimes people build their entire skilltree around one Dropsuit/Weapon, a full respec would be the best thing. |

I am totally against full respec but the heavy crowd should get every point of SP it took to get into that suit. They have put up with a lot and waited a long time. However it should be upon the release of the full line of racial suits. CCP would be wise to put out a quick post about the SP for missing suits and get the flames out for a while. |

I do understand the request for a respec for the suit, but I really don't think they can make a partial one to suit only. It would be full or none. And seriously, I am guessing it will be none.
I run heavy basic since the beginning of uprising, waiting for those other suits. In the meantime, I got to decide what module I prefer, since I run low on CPU and PG all the time even with my skills almost maxed out for CPU an PG...kitten limited.

I agree with the people saying save up, and I did not habe my ideal choice in roles. My ideal role was, and still is, Caldari Scout, which (correct if I am wrong, please) is not available. The Caldari are my race of choice, so I settled for assault and am now working on logistics, after I finish logistics I will save a minimum of half of all sp earned for when the rest of the Caldari variants are released. I am not asking for a respec, I am saying save up. At the time of the last respec we were told "last one, no more." So why do people keep demanding? Respecs devalue SP and our choices in how to use it. So no, I am against further respecs. No variants with 1.3, that means earliest we will see them is 1.4...that is a month and a half minimum. Save your SP now and by the time variants come out, you will have the SP to use them. It is that simple. |

If they throw a new racial suit in, I would try to push for a refund of the current skill points allocated to the under privileged lineup of suits ( ie amarr heavy and sentinel and commando would get refunded so you have the same amount of SP to go whatever is the next race of suits to come out)
I however will not advocate a ground zero experinced unless they screw up the entire tree and progression again. |

Commando is not a new racial variant, but rather a whole new role. No-one had points in commando before, so it's not as strong of a case for a respec. On the other hand, if you max out Amarr commando, when really you'd like to be focusing on caldari or minmatar commando, that's a different thing. |

This has probably been said before, but the problem with the partial respec for only Amarr heavy skills is that there are some people who may support their faction so much that they refuse to use anything else. There are Minmatar players who want to be a heavy but refuse to spec into Amarr heavy so go with Minmatar medium instead. Now should they be punished because their suit wasn't available at launch? |
