We're getting 5x Gallente 'neo' suits that track telemetry for future suit iterations. Is this suit really obtaining info for CCP? Or is this just more story lore? |

Most likely CCP trolling ... but play alone, you never know, they may actually being serious... .
In a serious note ; The Gallante suit is no bad, no that different from the Caldari. |

Look at the stats.
It has everything the same or worse than the Caldari suit, it's practically a mirrored version of the Caldari suit made for armor, only with less shield recharge and delay for... nothing actually, we get nothing in return.
And it uses the worst tank type. |

I can't sign on till later, but it would be nice to get a blue or CPM confirmation on if they're actually tracking this.
If they are, I'll make the best fit I can out of the skills and gear that I have, and I'll use them up.
If they aren't, I'll sit on them.

Well... i only played few matches, so maybe i being a bit premature. I let you know later what i think. |

They've been datamining the game since day one, so I highly doubt they'd give us these suits for collecting information. They could be testing some method to give prizes out to players, and this would be a good way to do that without giving everyone twenty core flaylocks with 0 SP requirements.
Or it could be a trolling attempt, in which case, gj. |

CCP can already track everything you're doing even without the new suits. This is just lore stuff they are feeding us for role play purposes. So just play along. |
