 Rather than having a bonus to passive skill point accumulation for being in a match, how about have a slightly higher passive bonus, but have it only last for 3 minutes after a trigger.
 
 Triggers should include:
 - Doing damage to an enemy player.
 - Taking damage from an enemy player.
 - Anything that generates War Points.
 
 This would not penalize new players as they are really good at taking damage. It would make AFKGÇÖing sort of pointless though.

 Good ideas, but when we get larger maps, it might kick those with out vehicles out of the game.

 More possible triggers:
 
 - Move to a position over 100m from where you were two minutes ago.
 
 I am trying to think of whether this one could be exploited. If you just put a rubber band on the joystick your character would eventually run into something and stop moving, but are there ways to exploit this that I am not thinking of?
 
 - Pass within 20m of an Objective.
 
 I would think that if you were AFK within 20m of an objective you would likely get killed in most matches. This could benefit people defending objectives though.
 
 - Centre an Objective terminal in your gun sights. (The Terminal, not just the Null cannon.)
 
 This one is for Snipers guarding objectives.
 
 These triggers are not as simple as the first 3 I listed and are worth discussion. Could any of these be exploited easily?

 When I go AFK I would spawn in the MCC. Because no one can get you. Good suggestion but it's not really smart to go afk when your on the ground around check points, unless your at a point where the enemy can't reach you.

 EDIT: But seriously I think anything to counter AFK'ing should be completely passive and shouldn't inconvenience legit players in any way. Maybe just disallow spawning in the MCC temporarily or auto-kick for inactivity/no WP after 3-5 mins with no isk/sp payouts for it.

I have seen half a bloody team in the MCC b4, gave up and broke my rule to never murdertaxi the enemy, sure as hell was not going to try and fight for objectives with 8 vs 16!

When we can pilot the MCC and it becomes a real command platform, then there will likely be things that the commander would do as part of their role which could be used as a trigger.

 Thing is I just read the patch notes, all they are going to do to break the game further:( and so far today I have p*ssed 1.5 million ISK up the wall beCause EVERY FKING GAME LITERALLY HALF OF MY FKING TEAM IS MCC CAMPING, I WILL NOT BUY ANYMORE AURUM AND I AM GIVING SERIOUS THOUGHT TO DOING THE SAME AS I DID WITH THE BETA, QUITTING THIS BROKEN ASSED P.O.S SO CALLED GAME!
 
 Oh yes I am mad bro! its quite clear to me this game is already infested with the same little scrubs that ruined BF3 with their "this is not like COD change it" attitude."
 
 I have put alot of time into the game, made some friends but maybe its time to hang this crap up, need to think on that.
 
 I play games to have fun and these MCC camping scrubs and the constant bullcrap nerfs and bugged game data has ruined the fun, I have been telling ppl to give them time to fix it as the game is not yet finished, far as I care I wont lose sleep if the game is taken down right now because it is a buggy broken mess!
