Could someone please remind me why the Caldari Assault bonus was changed. I understand why they changed the CalLogi bonus but why assault? I personally reload all the time, too much you might say. I noticed that the assault reload skill was bananas crazy to skill into SP wise so that's why I went CalAss.
Now don't get me wrong it was only a miniscule bonus to the reloading skill (less than a second). Then again adding a max of only 10% to shield extenders which btw is on a whopping 6 shields on complex (lol) is totally useless. I run no more than 2-3 complex extenders depending on the setup so 12-18 shields is not worth trading for reload speed IMO.
So can I have my reloading back? Otherwise could I at least get a good reason? Was it affecting other weapons making them OP?
P.S. Reloading skill cost waayyy to much for what little it does.

The assault racial bonus is +2%reload bonus to hybrid wepons.I used to think it was 2% per level,so 10%,but it's not.+10% bonus to shield extenders is crap i agree,but reload was total garbage. |

Use the reload glitch like COD, once the first click of the ammo of the clip sounds off sprint, it'll cut off just as much if not more time than the bonus change. Be happy you're getting +50 or so shields for free. |

If I'm right that's actually = +25% for proto suit and extenders
and you also have the passive 25% bonus available to max shields |

I did forget about the shield extension bonus. (which is 2% per level not 3)

2%. So a 20% bonus to extenders. It's a good point, though. Complex Shield Extenders with maxed skills will give about 80hp each. If we throw in an advanced regulator, shield recharge times are cut down to around 3/6 seconds.
At 4 seconds after taking shield damage (undepleted), you start recovering shields, and at 6 seconds after taking shield damage you've recovered 50hp/s (25hp/s recharge rate on Assault Caldari suits), more than a complex armour repairer could achieve in the same time.

And not if the complex repper was on a logi suit (innate 5 reps/s on all logi's + complex repper gets efficacy bonus from skill) |

Because, 1 month prior to official release, they decided to wrote different racial skills bonus on small pieces of paper, did a lottery by picking them up randomlike from a hat and Caldari won lol. Barely tested the whole racial bonuses thing, While they shouldn't have been racial bonus at official release, maybe 1.
