So this isn't a PC observation, but I would like to know how its working there, but I've really been noticing that a lot of fighting is not taking place at the 'tactical ranges' or 50-100m range. This is the range that is outside of that middle circle on your HUD.
The weapons here that can engage at this range VERY effectively are mass driver, forge gun, tactical AR, sniper rifle, laser rifle, and scrambler rifle to a little lesser extent.
At this range you don't seem to need the 600+ HP as much to be as survivable. So more fitting space can go to increased damage or other utility. Also, AR users tend to waste their ammo trying to hit you at range, and when they do see your damage drop a bit they are encouraged to continue. |

Yup I try to stay that far back with the laser if I can. That way my 200 Shields and 317 Armour are totally time and the slow as hell reps actually matter. |

Meh, very true, but cmon not everyone is capturing. I'd like to see specialized capturers. I think you can get a minmatar logi suit to like a 5 second or less hack time. |
