Where are you guys? Can we get some info on what CCP's cooking up in the kitchen? What ideas from our suggestions they're taking into consideration? What to expect on issues like Matchmaking, Vehicles, rest of the racial suits?

Is Jenza even on CPM anymore?

To be fair to IWS. He's by far the most active of the CPM and cares about the game seemingly a great deal.

As i said before, most of them don't even play DUST anymore, so I don't know how much input they have on much. Maybe they go on the forums and see what people are crying about this week, and bring it up in their meetings.

The only time people really saw the problems with Flaylock + fused nades was in PC. When competitive players made an agreement to not use it, was when CCP commented about those things being rebalanced. There's no member of the CPM that played PC longer than 2 weeks other than Kain Spero (spelling?), so as far as seeing what the competitive scene is doing, that's none existent atm.

PC is dead anyway, but I wonder if any member of the CPM even know this?

You see what's the most OP stuff in PC more often than in pubs, so it's kinda important that they make an effort in that department. But it comes back to how many of them still play.

I am still here about to go to bed, big meeting tomorrow keeping internal notes up to date so hopefully we don't accidentally spill something, keeping ducks in a row, and getting documentation down for the future CPMs to use.

Competitive players use them all the time, they just agreed not to use them against people that could use them right back at them. Don't give them too much credit.

CPM Kain has a little pet project where level headed (ie: reasonable) veterans can get direct feed to the developers to discuss ideas and suggestions and he's been doing is own sort of poking and farming of such opinions that generally are outside these forums. The highest interest right now is vehicle operators and tacticians. If you really feel you can be reasonable in a conversational environment, have good bit of respect and decorum you may want to see if you can get in on it.

The biggest hurdle of this pet project is however getting the developer a time and date to meet to have the talks.

This game brings out my cynicism x10 and people don't like honesty. So i'll just keep my none decent self here in General Discussion where people are generally ignored for the most part anyway.

Features and Ideas is generally very useful for new ideas but the pet project would be a means of dialogue similar to what the CPM can experience when it comes to a new major feature but instead of a bunch of guys that don't live breathe or eat that play style those who do and are good at expressing themselves can get something pitched to them and help deliberate on the idea presented.
