If it can beat Snipers at range and shotgun up close then yes, but it doesn't.
Also this community is on drugs at times and we get pretty crazy with some of our ideas (looks at respec and AR thread). |

exactly, AR's do vary reduced damage at range, and do full up close, but it dosent send out roughly 24 pellets that do 27 or something damage per pellet, lol |

The AR is really a mid-ranged weapon and you will get one-shotted by shotty and snipers in their attended roles. Don't make a weapon what it isn't. |
