This a joke? General Discussion doesn't mean, "Friendly Banter" It's a reflection of the community discussing the game - that's it. If it's negative then somethings wrong. There's no 'special section' for QQers to go - and GD seems like the perfect place to discuss woes.

You guys do realize that all your complaining doesn't belong here right? Feedback/Request is where you go if you want CCP to actually read what you have to say about weapons and gear along with other game mechanics and such. They even say on the Dev Blogs that they follow that area more closely when making decisions one hotfixes and updates.

Now this sub forum is of course for discussion. So making a post aimed at we the community about your frustrations is great, because that's what it's here for. For us to talk to "each other". But you all who sit at your computers typing out asinine threads to CCP are in the wrong place. Go the the area where CCP goes to actually care about that type of thing and leave the rest of us who don't give two-***** about your whining alone. You'll get less trolls and more CCP responses since it's where they look most of the time. It's good for everyone.

I'll have to agree with this. F/R is a haven of sanity precicely because casual ranting and unguided discussions are kept out of there.

General discussion about the game is bound to include feedback one way or another so by that definition there would be hardly anything that qualifies for GD.

and clearly didn't read wat i posted. tell me how many blue tags u see over there. now tell me are over here. almost the same if not more in general discusion. plus more people read general discusion so it is more effective.

We get more responses here because the majority of the threads to respond to are here. It's like if there's a trash bin and a recycle bin but because everyone just throws everything in the thrash bin the trash man just deals with the trash bin and doesn't worry much about the recycle bin.
