I was ridiculous how my assualt suit is capable of going either the same speed or faster than a scout. I created a medium suit with all the same gear as my scout( well not entirely the minmatar assault suit get it cpu and pg switch) all i notice is that i was going about the same speed as my scout suit, but the only difference it that my assualt suit had more shields and can take more hit.

This really make me question on why did CCP nerf an already weak suit, speed is it got,

Please don't make me use my assault suit as a scout, I love my scout suit.

logi should not be able to go twice as fast as a scout, but shouldn't take over their jobs.

I miss the chromosome build were ever thing make sense. logi were logi, scout were scout, assault were assualt( well still are), and heavy were more of moving wall.

Scout is just trying to keep up

Scout is just trying to keep up Nice to know I'm not the only one noticing this trend. With the "better" hitboxes you also die a lot more and the new range on weapons is also painful...

Crimson Judgment ROGUE SPADES EoN. 70	Posted - 2013.07.23 16:34:00 - [6] - Quote to any CCP dev reading this post don't slow down the minmatar assault suit. please speed up the scouts. aside from that i first noticed this while watching a friend who uses scout suits looked at his fitting and said i think my suit is faster then yours logged on later that day to find my minmatar assault suit was only slightly slower then his gallente scout. i think this is pretty stupid and scouts need a bit of a buff.

It doesn't quite have the stamina, but it is not far off. I'd prefer a slight speed increase for scouts - I don't think it would take much to differentiate them from the faster assault/logi suits. Maybe 7.8 for the Gallente, 8.1 for the Min for sprint speeds. That, a fix in hit detection and making the hitbox it's correct size would do wonders for scout gameplay. There are other changes needed as well, but this would make a massive difference in my opinion. I'm used to giving away free deaths in my games.....

Scout is just trying to keep up Stay strong brotha! Don't let the temptress known as the assault/logi suit reel you in! Scout HAVE to get a buff. We will soon enough. I've said before that the trade-offs of the scout suit are unbalanced. True, we are faster than other suits, but not so much faster that it makes up for the tissue paper thin protection we have. Heavies give up speed, sure, but they have added protection to make up for it and can thus, still be effective. Right now scouts serve no purpose. like dropships.

This is true. My little brother can outrun LAVs with his proto scout + speed mod setup.
