I, like my Gallente brothers, was born and raised on Caldari prime. My family has no problem with the Caldari people and their way but growing up in the shadow of a Leviathan has made us hardened against any corporate oppressors. Now that the Leviathan has fallen the time has come to return control of the planet to those that will accept all the citizens of my home world, and not just their own. The State military may have quelled our first insurgency but now that the skies are clear, and the gun pointed at our heads is gone, the time to strike again is coming. We will lay down our lives to make the entire system a free and open society. Join me brothers, and let us fight these boardroom dictators. |

Getting your home designated a demilitarized zone with nearly half of its territory under Gallentean administration isn't enough for you?
Gods and spirits. Well, please enjoy fighting Mordu's Legion. Caldari State military forces are thin on the ground there, these days-- about as thin, not coincidentally, as Federal soldiers. |

You don't want to do this. Just believe me when I tell you, you don't want to do this.
You will never understand the offensive that will follow if you press to regain our homeworld. Caldari Prime is our home. It was where the winds guided us through the Dark Years. It was were the Raata forged the greatest empire the Caldari have ever witnessed.
I know that freqently promises of violence are met only with promises of more violence, and it continues until it loses all effect and the carnage is implied. But please, you need to understand...
I speak to you, draped in my State's flag, my head bowed before the spirits of ever ancestor that has come before me, their faces contorted in looks of disgust and horror. I speak to you, breathing in the ash of the Leviathan as it rains down on the planet, yet still content to be breathing the air of my home. I speak to you, with a flame in my spirit that will never die, bent over a blade that will not be sheathed until we have won...
If you continue. If you attempt to take that which is most dear to us...
We will murder all of you. |

To state what Fae-haan is saying in slightly less dramatic terms:
For the first time in literally centuries, Caldari Prime, or, as the Caldari call it, "Home," is to be administered in a way acceptable to both the Caldari State and the Gallente Federation. It is demilitarized, neutral ground where the two powers share administration very nearly equally.
For roughly the previous two centuries, the Gallente Federation ruled it. This was a major sticking point where peace with the State was concerned. Tibus Heth's invasion of Gallente space and the installation of a Leviathan-class titan and its support fleet in orbit was aimed at one primary purpose: to retake the Caldari homeworld-- the homeworld from which the Caldari had been driven by an unabashedly fascist Federal regime.
This has been a sticking point in Caldari/Gallente relations for generations. Now there is a compromise in place that virtually everybody short of the Templis Dragonaurs is happy with, and you want to throw it away because there are a few Caldari administrators on the muddy snowball of your (and their) birth?

Consider this before taking up arms against the Caldari. Who actually sunk the Titan onto the planets surface and who refused to glass the surface of the planet? Now Im sure youll want to bring up Heth but he was not acting in the interests of the state in issuing that order and remember that he has since been deposed according to the wishes of the state. |

It seems odd to me on these dark daya that those who preach of freedom for tyrants and civil liberties are so war mongering in how they wish to spread their imperialistic goals....
These people lack purpose.
They shall fall to the caldari as the matari fell to the empire.
Why?
Because we are just. We are true. And we fight to reclaim what waa taken from us. |

Well said.
I will join the Caldari in their path of destruction if you decide to try and retake Caldari Prime. Then, when that is done, I will bring the war to your own home-worlds doorsteps.

The Caldari will prove to be strong and steadfast allies, as your enemies after you have betrayed them you will find them to be dogged, determined enemies. |

While my people may be allied with the Gallente I will not support such a insane action. Have you forgotten that Mordus legion is now the only military power allowed on that planet? It was their home first, if this is acceptable for both of your governments then why would you try and ruin it? |

It was their homeworld before anyones. Mordu's legion are actually run currently by a number of Caldari sympathists who take handouts from the Caldari State. |

Um. Respectfully, Templar Adamance, I think Mr. Kag was just a little ... imprecise with his pronouns.
Also, please bear in mind that (1) the Legion is arguably the most respected mercenary force in the cluster; (2) their relations with the State have been a bit more ... troubled since Tibus Heth's rise (his Templis Dragonaur sympathies were kind of a problem)....
(3) If it's given out of charity, it's a handout; if it's given out of debt, it is payment; if it is given out of respect, it is an honorable award. The Legion has rarely if ever received the State's charity. Debt, yes. Honor, yes. Charity? No. |
