its not much of an idea, but create a new battle mode, I think CQC would fit in between ambush and skirmish, this new mode is purely for combat, no lavs, no havs, no dropships, and no oms, I am still sick of being ran over |

Acquisition, Siege, Demolition, Breach, Capture the Flag, Drone Sweep, Sanha's incursions.... etc |

No. We don't need a mode that pilots are effectively excluded from participating effectively.
We also don't need a mode that allows players to opt out of vehicle warfare, leaving pilots with just other pilots and AV infantry.
Adapt in accordance to the game rules instead of changing the game rules. Pilots are players too. |

The ships that have been suggested to house those battles (titans) are about as large as our current maps redzone included so theres plenty of space for vehicles to operate. Just imagine machine rooms the size of whole cities. Make them warp in and the lack of drunk rdv makes them the favorite mode for pilots.
And i'm fine with maps being designed in a way that discourages vehicle use. Some of todays maps already work that way. What i object to is the notion that players should be able to somehow choose what type of enemy they want to face. This game is close enough to being your run-of-the-mill lobby shooter as it is. |

Agreed that's a stupid idea.... however at somepoint we have to realise that it would make sense from an employers kind of view under certain circumstances.
I would be fine with infantry only as long as it was contained to an explained and limited Caldari Bloodsports gladiator fight and nothing else. |

I would back you on this but only if the player base was larger. Currently the ambush lobbies would be quite empty as there are ALOT who dislike vehicles. |

so you guys are saying we shouldn't have a choice, because I love wasting my proto fits on an lav that's waiting for me to spawn, im just saying the option would be nice, as would the option to just have an open map tank mode with no infantry, with the low cost of budget tanks you can still have a bit of fun before you blow up. your views do not reflect the views of everyone, as neither do mine apparently,
variety is the spice of life, or something like that |

I agree, they are a big part of the game. They are also a bit unbalanced (not really a deal breaker for me though).

Yeah they are way too easy to kill. I should fear tanks to rush headlong at them like I do.
AV nades need to go and be replaced with AV breaching charges that we have to place on the rear of the tank. |

by the way dude, I have nothing against tanks, I love tanks, they belong on the battlefield, my problem is the sneaky lavs, the ones that roll up behind u, probably laugh for a min, and then take off like something out of mad max 2, I cant hear or see you because its a game and I cant swivel my head from side to side in .3 of a second.
tanks good, if I loose a proto to a tank, so be it, but to lav over and over and over, if I could jump on the hood and knaw my way threw his suite, id rip there hearts out, shove it up the you know what, and take a giant dump on his dashboard, all before setting fire to the thing and walking away, but for now I just blast there ass with a tank |
